Thank you for the tutorial! As for myself, I cut out the template with exact measurements as shown in the video, but when I sewed the pieces together using a 1/4" seam allowance all around, the flap (that folds down) ended up considerably more narrow than the rest of the card holder. I still don't know why, but I am going to widen the template for the flap, which I hope will take care of the issue. I want to make a bunch of these for holiday gifts!

Two thoughts….
Accuracy is vital …make sure your measurement and sewing is spot on
Decovil leather like interfacing works a treat. Sorry don’t know the US equivalent. Provides a stiffness which helps.

Just use the cm side of your ruler. If your ruler isn't 'bilingual" find one that is.
