My wife and I are considering the ideal place to officially settle down that might include a number of factors, and I was drawn directly to look at Chattanooga. We're currently living in rural Eastern Oregon, which is a no-go for just about everything we want. For starters, we're both business-oriented people, already running a wedding photography/videography business and working to build a production company from the ground up, so we need a place that's business friendly. The only positive that came out of our small town of La Grande, OR is that everyone knows each other and it enabled us to get our business into the spotlight, something we couldn't achieve in the city, but what drew me to Chattanooga was someone's description of it as a small town and big city at the same time. Low cost of living and no state income tax seems like an absolute win. Tennessee's natural beauty also seems ideal for our field of cinematography, and exposing the kids to culture and activity is a must, which we know Tennessee is full of. We have to do more research into this but I hope Chattanooga can be the place that fits every bit of this criteria.
@@NoogaTeam HI Mike, My wife and I will be in Chattanooga from 8/1 till 8/6. I was wondering if we could meet Tuesday 8/3 to talk/ visit neighborhoods/ areas to move to. Let me know. Thx, Bob.

We are retired and would like to relocate to Chattanooga. Due to our age, outdoor activities are not high on our list of priorities. What about restaurants, cultural events like museums, theaters, concerts, art galeries? On most of the pictures I saw of Chattanooga there was not much of a downtown area. What could you tell us about that? Thank you.
The downtown area has really grown over the past years. With the addition of a world class aquarium, many businesses started moving downtown. There are quite a few great restaurants from all different genres of food. I would recommend coming and spending a day or two just enjoying the area.
