En esta nueva entrega contaremos con músicos tan maravillosos como Luigi Grasso, ( que lo podeis escuchar al saxo alto en este video ) Enrique Oliver y en cual podremos apreciar la evolución del sonido de la orquesta y de los jovenes solistas ( como Marçal Perramon y Victor Carrascosa que son los solistas en este tema )

Not a speck of mediocrity here, only brilliance and genius. Joan Chamarro keeps on with his miraculous jazz kids and now grown adults. Astounding! Bossa Nova never sounded so good.
Kid on trumpet rocked it on the solo! They're all great of course!
I’ve never seen young musicians play so tight as this ,all solos are inspirational,for me the young trumpeter has the gift.

Yes, Victor Carrascosa is very talented! He is the son of the arranger, by the way.
The word “gift” you used is befitting for this kid, not to mention that this song Recado Bossa in some parts of the world is know as “The Gift”.
I was (pleasantly) surprised at how seasoned that young trumpeter sounds.
I do not agree. The young trompet player is good but he is mediocre and has no talent. The only one with the talent, apart the maestro Chamorro, is Luigi Grasso on sax :-)
kid on the trumpet looks so young, and then, BAM, hits you with that solo! So much talent in this group...they sound fabulous!! Well done to all.
Victor was around 13 yo. then, a "veteran" of at least four years...
He's one of those who went along with the joy and motivation created by his peers and Joan Chamorro.
Little Victor plays very lyrically ! He is developing a wonderful voice on the trumpet. I can tell he listens to the best players and I can hear Chet Baker's influence in his playing. All these young musicians play with a maturity beyond their years. Luigi makes Bird proud and is taking the jazz world by storm...Love the work these young talented musicians are doing to keep Jazz alive ! Bravo !!!

@@hank1519 Yes, Luigi is by far the finest sax soloist I've heard since Zane Musa. He is just way more advanced than the kids here so there is no question he is the cream of the crop! LOL ! I'm sure the other kids are inspired by Luigi... Joan does such a great job bringing these kids along.. Just an Amazing educator and a great musician in his own right. I applaud Maestro Joan Chamorro ! Bravo Maestro !

I am impressed by how the Joan Chamorro's group plays Bossa Nova with the resourcefulness they get. They seem to have been born in Brazil and have listened to Bossa Nova since it was invented. As a Brazilian , I am very happy that there is a group in the world that likes to play Bossa Nova as I like to listen it.
Congratulations to the whole group, to "maestro" Chamorro and especially to these two young people who make the "solos".

THE TROMPETS AND THE SAXOS...AND REALLY THE ENTIRE ORCHESTRA...OUTSTANDING.
I came across this via Hank Mobley's rendition of Recado Bossa Nova - and I'm as happy to listen to this version as Hank's - and he inspired me many years ago to learn the sax. It's great to see such a talented and such hard-working band of young musicians (I know because I've played in youth ensembles) - and with a clearly excellent educator and leader as Joan Chamorro. Long may this continue!

As a lifelong Bossa Nova fan, I must say this band is MAGNIFICENT in every way.
WATERS of MARCH aguas de marco is handled exquisitely and it's quite difficult to pull off with every subtle touch in place, dynamics, intonation, rhythms dancingly delivered with youth, and experience side by side. A true miracle. THANK YOU for posting this.
Three super talented guys on Tenor sax, Trumpet and Alto sax take this number to a new level. Excellent arrangement Chamorro. Kudos to all the other musicians contributing to written arrangement.
None of this would be happening without Joan Chamorro providing the opportunity, motivation, leadership, inspiration and high standards and he deserves every bit of credit and praise.... but please also spare a thought for the young people who put in the hard work and hours of practice to achieve these levels of performance.

Estaba buscando una versión de Recardo Bossa Nova y encontré esta grabación. ¡GUAU! Estos hombres y mujeres jóvenes son increíbles. Realmente increíble.
Desafortunadamente, en los Estados Unidos no tenemos este nivel de dedicación por parte de personas de este rango de edad. Aquí, los niños de siete a diez años apenas pueden cambiarse de ropa, ¡y mucho menos tocar jazz de clase mundial!
Es un gran placer escuchar y ver a estos jóvenes jugar con tanta pasión y determinación.
Me recuerda a la película japonesa 'Swing Girls', de la cual solo he visto clips en RUclips, pero la determinación, el esfuerzo, la práctica ganan, tanto en el cine como en la vida real, este grupo de individuos lo demuestra en la vida real. .

I was looking for a version of Recardo Bossa Nova and came across this recording. WOW! These young men and women are awesome. Truly incredible.
In the United States, unfortunately, we don't have this level of dedication from people in this age range. Over here, seven to ten years old can barely change their own clothes any more, let alone perform world class jazz!
This is such a pleasure to listen to and watch these young people playing with such passion and determination.
I am reminded of the Japanese film 'Swing Girls', which I've only seen RUclips clips of, but determination, effort, practice wins the day, both in film and in real life, this group of individuals shows it off in real life.

The maturity of these young boys and girls are terrific to listen to. Joan Chamorro has done wonders for this band and I'm sure and more young people to come after them.

The more I play this video, the more amazed I become at the standard of musicianship here. It goes without saying that Luigi Grasso's maturity would shine through but Marçal Perramon comes up with a terrific solo. As for Victor Carrascosa - well, he has to be World-Class, and at such a young age; an unbelievable talent for sure!
