Thank you Isabel for the video. Wow, what a quartet of saxophones together sharing the stage with solos for everyone. Very rarely has such quantity and quality been seen. Joel Frahm and Scott Hamilton, two historical phenomena worldwide. Martí and Perramón, two greats of Spanish jazz and I would almost say European. And with them Chamorro and Juliá, always a guarantee in the accompaniment, together with Pau García who at 17 years old is growing as a pianist at breakneck speed and although the shadow of Marc Martín and Jan Doménech is very long, he leads that path. [ It's a shame that a family problem prevented me from traveling to Barcelona for the festival at the last minute. I had the tickets, the hotel and the train. I would have been very excited to see all the concerts live and personally meet Chamorro, Blanca. Paul Mason, Roman and other regulars on these forums, but... another year will be gone ]
Really interesting to see how the two young lads each end seem to be evolving as players The lad on the right gravitating towards Scott Hamilton style ,while the lad on the left clearly going towards the Joel Frahm style....All of them...fantastic ....BRAVO !!!!!! ❤❤❤❤❤❤

Love these guys! Would be nice if this didn’t have commercials right in the middle of a solo. I doubt this will get the 100s of 1000s of views to generate any money. Perhaps you could turn off the ads. Or at the very least, place the ads BETWEEN the songs? Cheers.
When the two guys play the first theme of "After supper", they seem to want slowing down the tempo, not playing on the beat, confusing "swing" and "tempo". Fortunatly, the two veterans solved the problem. And the great Joel Frahm apprently ignored the "Atomic Mr Basie" album...
