      Hey, feel free! I forgot I broke my door handle trim and had to bolt it to the door handle bracket in this video. A bit embarrassing on my part haha, but hey, your door handle brackets are super sturdy and i've had zero issues with my little quick fix so far lol. So A+ for your brackets.
      Also I'm still loving the panels. Clean super well and show no sign of me banging my seat belt against them :) I've been waiting for it to get warmer so I can remove my cage in order to install a sunroof delete, and your rear delete panels that I also have. I'm very excited, thanks again.

    Super helpful video! Where did you get that door handle riser from?

    • @Carpythesharky
      @Carpythesharky  Год назад

      If you're talking about the black bracket that the door handle attaches to; it's included in the kit with the panels :)

    How did you get the power mirror switch to stay in the panel?

    • @Carpythesharky
      @Carpythesharky  3 года назад +5

      I wrapped electrical tape around the tabs on the mirror switch base then shoved it in there. Just two loops was enough for me. Hasn't moved.

    Okay so the door handle pull the metal peice that actuates is on the inside of my door by my windows and because of this it will not fit. How do I get it to reach?

    • @Carpythesharky
      @Carpythesharky  3 года назад

      Are you talking about the long horizontal rod (operating rod) that connects the interior door handle to the locking mechanism on the end of the door? The rod that is moved/pulled when pulling the handle? (Part number: 51218237290).
      If you're talking about the operating rod, it would appear someone at some point had your door apart and reinstalled it incorrectly by fishing it through the door panel. It connects the handle to the door lock itself. So you will need to unhook it from the door lock, pull it out in front, then reconnect it to the door lock.
