I am totally impressed - Your presentation with the music was both mesmerising and inspiring.
Thank you 🙌
Thank you for sharing your knowledge brother!!!!
Great result👍🏻 Thanks for sharing.
Beautiful work!!!
Nice work!
Very nice. Iv tried lots done many different ways and parts it’s good when everything goes well
When u cut the bag on the back of your new piece I died a bit.
Haha back of cured carbon is very hard!
Doesn't matter it's the back of the piece which you will never see👍
I guess it is a matter of what is acceptable and to what standard you want to work... - But I agree with you.
merci merci .... depuis la France 👍👍👍👍 top top top !!!!
Super high quality
Sensational
Good job Guy ;oP
Top master
what clear coat did you use? uv protected clear coat?
Thats the best looking OOA material I've seen so far. What brand is it?
It's Xpreg 👍
Insane
I emailed you earlier did you receive my email?
What of it has clips in the back?
Nice to be nice👍🏼
Congratulations for the tutorial, I wanted to ask you if the vacuum pump must suck until it catalyzes the resin or as soon as it reaches the gel point it must detach, isn't there a risk that it sucks in too much resin?
No. You can't pull resin out of the prepreg because the release film isn't perforated, even of you leave the pump on for hours. If you can't get a perfect seal on the vacuum bag, which is not unusual, you have to leave the pump on until the resin has cured.
Can I ask why you use glass bubbles mixed with coupling coat and not only a coupling coat?
I use mix the glass bubles with coupling coupling to make a very thick resin. I brush into all the tight corners first to avoid any bridging gaps when laying up.
The carbon fiber like striker, where is place to buy it ?
Awesome part!
What is the green tape that you use to make the mold?
Flash release tape
Your work is amazing..do you sell this items you made?
Yes sometimes. Thanks

Красота неописуемая
So cool! Why do you use the aluminum powder? What difference have you noticed? I'm very curious.
It increases the temperature the gel coat can withstand
@CarbonWorkshops Wow that's cool. Thanks for sharing.
Can u make full body parts for a motorbike?
that bike is so dear to me and its body parts are rare now.
I will send you the whole body kit
cool but is the screw hole on the bottom the only mounting point now? doesn't look like you made any stand offs on the backside to mount it with
Correct, the top section will need bonding into position
Препрег. В работе приятнее если сравнивать с вакуумной инфузией. ( меньше лишней работы. Дегазация смолы например)
Prepreg. The work is more pleasant when compared with vacuum infusion. (less extra work. Degassing of resin for example)
Красиво 👍
Do you take on projects for hire?
0.25 quelle et la plaque blanche que vous utilisez ? Du polypropylène ? Que peut on utilisez pour que la résine ne colle pas au support ?
I use 3mm sign board. You can put flash release tape over the board or use release agent
is this a bespoke job? how much did you charge?
2:57 I've done that so many times. My shop bench permanently stinks of release agent
Haha! Nothing worse
Can you make me one for me car if so how much
top
how many minutes in the oven? Please
Altogether about 8 hours
shouldn't the breather be next the peel ply to absorb excess resin. even pre-preg carbon needs it! polyester tooling gelcoat?
No need for peel ply on pre preg.
You keep blowing my mind lol standard polyester tooling gel coat? Or not even tooling? I guess the xpreg doesn’t need a really high temperature?
Not even tooling.. Just standard gel mixed with aluminium powder 😁
@@CarbonWorkshops 🤯😆
@@CarbonWorkshops where do you buy the aluminium powder? I see you mention 40%, is that 40% by weight of powder to gel?
I mostly do infusion but want to try the xpreg system.
Are your temps in c or f?
Celsius
Probably a stupid question but how did you get the carbon fiber to harden?
It cures in the oven at high temperature
@@CarbonWorkshops cool for about how long?
@@SilentNightPro1 total cycle about 8 hours long
Feels like deja vu
Iykyk
First video got taken down 😭
@@CarbonWorkshops Why?
@@IngeBall just a music copyright claim
@@CarbonWorkshops They're fast as fudge on those claims.
👍🏼👈🏻👌🏼😎
do u really need to spend all that $ for pre preg & vaccum for a door post?
3:00. Done that more than once :-)
🤣
Great work as always! 💪
I know it's the same comment as it's the same video 😆 There are some decent channels for Non copyrighted songs check them out.
Haha thank you 🍻
Boss, I don't mean to bother your time, May I send you my pillers and ask you to do them, I've messed up my third set today, and I've been trying time and time again to get it right. Ill compensate you, if theirs a way to communicate and talk about it all, please respond
🤓💬let’s just focus
