For grease stains, use Dawn dishwashing soap. It takes out the satain every time. I just squit some on rub it in and let it set for a few minutes and then wash.
Everyone around me makes fun of me because of my loyalty to the original BLUE dawn dish soap...that is until they need my help for stain removal lol 😂 but it truly is the one only one I would EVER use!
And use it for that too. And I use it to clean the shower. All the grease from you and your shower products. Breaks it down easily. Been doing it for years.
Ok I paused for a sec at the Oxydol/canvas sneakers part to share a tip I learned from a 2nd generation g-ma (we know some of our elders tricks remain tried & true 😉). For anything canvas (shoes, totes, hats) before you wear/use spray them down with spray starch to short of damp, let dry and commence to wearing. Once they dirty and you wash em after they dry spray starch em again 2nd verse same as the first. The starch will help repel stains sinking in AND aid in any yellowing 👍. Such as yellowing that will occur by the glue/sole line of Converse/Keds or the seems of hats/totes. 😘
I hope EVERYONE reads this comment! THE BEST THING TO USE ON GREASE STAINS IS DAWN DISHWASHING LIQUID! I know right? Be sure to use it full strength. No need to let it set. I use it for all my pretreating, now. Of course, I don’t have a family, anymore. It’s just the two of us and we are 70. It may be easier and cheaper to use Oxydol on regular stains if you have a family.
I'm with you there. I love all the smells. Candles, waxes, oils, sprays, plug-ins, etc. We have radiators. If their are pans in the covers. I add water and drop essential oils in the pan. When the heat kicks in, it spreads the scent all over the room.
I was always told to spray the stain on the WRONG side of the cloth because it drives the stain out. Works great for me for years and years. If you spray ON the stain, it sets it in.
I have used your #10 mop head to clean the inside of my hard to reach car windshield. It is difficult for me to reach the windshield and over the steering wheel. I wrap a clean microfiber towel around the mop-head, spray the window and wipe the inside of the windshield clean…repeat if needed with a clean cloth. But the extended handle and the shape of the mop-head works great.
I have been using Earth Breeze for quite some time. I really like them. As I live alone and am retired I don’t have much laundry and sometimes I cut them in half. I may try those from $Tree and see how I like them. Thanks for your hints
The duster is machine washable I use mine on walls baseboards and even my tub. So far I have washed it a couple of times still looking almost new not falling apart. Highly recommend!
I use the "mop" on my walls/baseboards/etc. I started a couple if weeks ago. I sprayed zep foaming wall cleaner and used this mop and i was so impressed, it ckeaned my walls that i couldn't clean before due to the paint. My hubby was so impressed as well. I stocked up on the pads so i can do my entire home 😊
Peroxide works wonders on all food, blood(especially blood)body fluid stains. Just don’t let it sit too long on colors or it will lighten the fabric. My ex got blood on his karate uniform and I never got it out with every treatment I could come up with. I have gotten blood on many shirts (I should never be allowed around kitchen knives 😂) and it has never failed me! ❤
You are always a fun watch! Have I told you that a few dozen times before? I enjoyed so many of these products that I saved this video so I can refer to it when I get to a Dollar Tree!! Thanks for the info and inspirations, AJ!! ❤
I found something that blew me away! Canning jar wooden slides with airtight seal, by BALL! You saw that right! Ball, the pricey canning supply company has these 4-pack wooden slides to use for storing items in your canning jars. It Ball, y'all! I've never seen them but I bet they're at least $8. If not more!
Thanks for sharing your videos. You have a Beautiful house. And you have a Beautiful family. Thanks for the tips . I'm definitely going to buy the counter wipes !! HAVE A BLESS DAY TO EVERY ONE 🙏💙🙏❤️🙏🥰👍👍!!!
I use cold water on chocolate then rub it under cold water and or scratch with your nails while under water comes out every time , best to do it as soon as possible though
I bought some of the laundry sheets, but was skeptical about using them. Now that I have seen that you like them I will give them a try! Thanks for the video Andrea Jean, I love your videos!
Hi Andrea jean love the video great idea's I found. Those ice balls they worked very well. I did get him and I also got that little mop thing and I clean out my shower and my walls with that
Oh yeah I just use dawn on the I just use Dawn spray on my clothes and mix it with water and spray it on and if I don’t think that’ll work I just add some straight Don and it usually takes out all of the stains
Have you tried the dust mop at Dollar Tree? It works better than a Swifter and they can be washed. I have 3 cats and it cleans so much better. I just pull off as much of the cat hair as I can and toss it in the washer.
I use Zout…yes, Zout spray, and I am married to a farmer who gets filthy, greasy, dirty! Also I use Biz liquid. And Tide HE original when the farm clothes get extra filthy. I get rid of lots of horrible stains!
Yes, this should be subtitled: fragrances in your home. My husband is very sensitive to fragrances so I don’t use them. I’ve come to really like the smell of clean, no fragrance. The best for grease stains is corn starch. I keep a bottle of corn starch on my washing machine to treat grease stains. One more thing, please don’t use bleach unless you have to. It’s really bad for the environment. It gets rid of stains by tearing them apart. It keeps doing that to everything in the environment as it continues on its path to the ocean. Thank you!!
After suffering most of my life with debilitating migraines, my neurologist and I finally figured out that the main culprit was the chemicals in fragrances (perfumes, lotions, air fresheners, etc.), so many of which are derived from petrochemicals and many of which are on the hazmat list.
We DO know many of the things that they do to the body but both Canada and the United States have NO regulations governing full disclosure on what they are. Many of these chemicals have been banned in European countries. And the chemicals that make things smell for a long period of time, are called phthalates. They are ALL toxic
I do have a question though do you really wash your towels with your clothes? My husband when he does laundry, always tries to throw towels in and it annoys me to no end, I’m using my husband‘s RUclips login. BTW, my name is Lynn. Washing your clothes with a towel. Is like washing your clothes with sandpaper.
I separate all my laundry as well, because when u wash towels with your clothes, you end up with towel lint all over your clothes (especially sweatshirts, sweaters, slacks) and it tends to make said clothing pill, too
Dish soap works really great for grease stains actually so does liquid shampoo.. I also prefer nicely scented things. Things without a scent or fragrance free actually smell so much like chemicals. It’s nasty.
You can split the sheets in ½, so if 1 sheet doesn't seem to be enough for the size load you're washing (everybody seems to have a different opinion on how big a large load is), you could add a ½ sheet more. That's what I would suggest. I've never used the Dollar Tree kind, but I have used a different brand I got off of Amazon and anytime I've done laundry at the Laundromat where I'll wash like XL loads, I tend to use 1½-2 sheets and that's plenty.
I think it goes without saying you shouldn't be sniffing the stuff straight from the container, but if you are doing your hair in in the bathroom... how are you not breathing it in?
You seem to be really invested in scents. Just to let you know that one fragrance can contain up to 3,000 chemicals. Many of which are neurotoxins, and have other harmful effects such as causing infertility and low sperm counts. "Clean" doesn't have a smell. And if you're spraying something that has fragrance in it every single day of your life on your linens and on your other things, chances are very good that you're creating a toxic environment. Your liver Is then tasked with trying to get rid of all of that out of your system. 😢
You are always a fun watch! Have I told you that a few dozen times before? I enjoyed so many of these products that I saved this video so I can refer to it when I get to a Dollar Tree!! Thanks for the info and inspirations, AJ!! ❤

Dawn dish detergent works great on grease if it hasn't been put in the dryer. I've always been told to spray from the under side of the stain.
Thanks for sharing!!
Yes! Dawn works great on grease or any stain you have.
I don’t use it for my walls but for the windshield. It’s so much easier to clean with it as it easily gets all the way in there and does a good job.

When we remodeled our kitchen I didn’t have a disposal put in. 2 years so far and no regrets!

To clean your counters use dawn dish soap diluted with water 💦 it works like a charm ❤

I love the fragrance of the peppermint sage cleaner!
For any type of grease, I get a small towel wet a conner put on a dab of Dawn ( or ant dish soap) and go over the stain. Works every time.
Thanks for sharing!
Nice option to the travel size downy wrinkle releaser I bought at Walmart for double the price-- for travel size.

Hand sanitizer works great when your on the move
A little blue Dawn on the grease stain and then the remover. Should come right out.

Lava hand soap is my go to
Thanks for all your hard work❣️
You are so welcome!
Hey Andrea Jean. Love the peppermint sage line. I would probably use the triangle mop for dusting too.😊
Hi Andrea 👋 like the Downy fabric spray. Will look for laundry sheets. Thank you Andrea 😊 Joan
You are so welcome!
I bought some, but thought they wouldn't dissolve, like those pods that also don't dissolve for me. I love your advice to fold them up, thank you

I use the duster for the inside of my car dash window which is so hard to get to.
To remove blood, either fresh or dried use straight ammonia before washing.
I use pinesol for grease stains
I love the Halloween 🎃👻 decorations at Dollar 💵 Tree 🌴.
Our freezer makes those round, ice balls. We love 💖 them ❣️😍.

the laundry sheets are fantastic, but sold out in my area

Oh heck yeah!! I need that one too 🎉
Thank you
You're so welcome.
What would you suggest for getting out grease stains out.
I would use blue Dawn dish soap to start with and see if that does the job. It seems to work well for a lot of people.
Thank you…again!
My pleasure!
Use Dawn power wash on the grease stain
For grease stains 50/50 hydrogen peroxide and dawn
Just an FYI, all these "fragrances" are chemicals, and many are unregulated. We don't know what they do to the body.

She sprays her bed and sofa down with wrinkle release spray....I don't think she cares about chemicals. Lol
Dawn Power Wash for grease stains
We started caller dollar tree 5 quarter store and more 😂
Thanks👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
Any time!
Could you use the ice molds to make those hot chocolate bombs?
I'm sure you could.

Grease removal...it isn't a money saving item, but dawn detergent works every single time...but it HAS to be dawn...no dupes.
Use blue dawn on ALL grease!! U dont need anything else!!
😉👍❤
Here in Canada they charge $1.50 to $1.75
I've been interested in those laundry detergent sheets. Would you, Clean Queen Andrea, say that there's enough detergent on them for large loads?
You can split the sheets in ½, so if 1 sheet doesn't seem to be enough for the size load you're washing (everybody seems to have a different opinion on how big a large load is), you could add a ½ sheet more. That's what I would suggest. I would do like @arayasunshine6596 mentioned. Use a 1/4 - 1/2 of another sheet or as needed based on what you think you need. 👍
For me using oxi clean is like taking a bath in poison ivy.
😲
❤️
I can't do frangrances.
I think that people don't realize that you shouldn't breathe in hairspray or the wrinkles releaser into your lungs!!!
I think it goes without saying you shouldn't be sniffing the stuff straight from the container, but if you are doing your hair in in the bathroom... how are you not breathing it in?
