How come nobody likes his videos you know that stuff helps a lot a lot
Cause they suck!!
I usually do, but I thought the title was a bit click bait. I don't need that to watch your videos mark.
The Losi cars in the 90s came with what was called the hydradrive system it was basically a viscous coupling that allowed Full Throttle acceleration without spinning the tires
I like the body clips. Tip, put a small cable tie through and trim off excess, makes them much easier to grab and remove with big hands.
The rear 5 link suspension was for the bumpy tracks of yesteryear. Losi also had an oil based slipper clutch which was pretty innovative for the time.
OUCH!!! Needle nose pliers to the rescue on the frame!!!! And some turtlewax ice seal and shine for the whole truck! Cool unboxing. Nice born day gift! Great video and keep them coming!!!
The chassis is composite resin . It was the first race car I ever bought and built the shared racing. The 5 link rear suspension was to tame the hard packed old school backyard tracks of yesteryear lol but still very effective love the vlogs keep up the great work from Detroit with love
That is a very faithful reproduction of the original. And yes back in the day motors did have those stickers on them
I just picked up mine this week, loving it. Sweet little buggy, super fun.
Man I’m with you when I do something dumb & break my RC’s I get so frustrated with myself because it was my stupid mistake that caused the breakage. Sucks.
I take my clips and bend a 45 degree angle in them with pliers and a vice for easy removal. I was inspired by the angled clips on the losi 1/24, and now i do it to every bodyclip. it really helps with removal. great video
It’s an excellent replica. The JR-X2 was my first racing RC car. The rear suspension was excellent on rough outdoor tracks.
Awesome job mark you make some really great videos
I enjoyed the video. The mini Jrx2 looked great.Back in the day we raced the original on carpet and they were excellent. Thanks for sharing.
Hey Mark, in its day, the trailing arm suspension was pretty revolutionary and Losi built its reputation on that car. I am an AE guy and even I switched to Losi for a couple of years!
Hey Mark, always love the content, you totally keep the hobby fresh and fun, keep up the great work!
thank you sir!
JRX-pro scratch built was my racer when I was young. 👍💯
I was a teenager in the 90s these cars were the best you can get at the time and we all wanted them
It's interesting because the color show AJR Pro and a junior 2 along with the jrx2. But looks like they all come with trailing arm rear suspension which was originally only the jrx2
Dedicated guy Mark!
just picked up a mini b and a jrx2 for me and my son for the local hobbytown track. Both are brushed for now. I wanted to start out slow since my son is only 6. And I was impressed by how they do on a small carpet track. I am used to 10th scale buggies. But the little 1\16th scale race a track fairly well. Just a good fun time.
That was a great idea now a full on Knight Rider move would be next!
Hi MSM
Kindly help between Losi DB XLE and X-maxx which one should I buy?
My requirement is should be fun and speed and durable enough
I remember the look on your face when you saw the box in the MSM tent 😁
back in the day, we never used the side body clips, just front and rear. The decal on the motor is a throwback from the original Losi Jr's Choice motor, it was a Gil Losi Jr. signature motor. The original jrx-2 also had a clear gear cover, most of us swapped it out for a RPM hard plastic one because it was more durable. Overall I think they did a great job on the mini jrx-2 and most features are the same as the original. I would love for them to re-release a 1/10 true original car though. the jrx-2 was my first rc race car.
Could’ve been worse could’ve been mine😂✌️.
I just picked one of these up for like $140 and personally I love it but the shocks are lack luster, they don’t seem to have as much oil in them but other than that I love it and it’s pretty fun and a nice change of pace from all my bigger models
Also a good idea is to pick up the battery from the Lodi mini brushless truck? It’s a 850mah 50c lipo and it’ll give a little more punch
Fun video!Just buyed one as my first model ! Long time scale modelers it is my first journey into RC World
Wish I could do that good
i love the track you're using.... looks familiar...
On a tangent. Are the mini b alloy shocks the same as mini t?
Sucks! I smashed my Mojave EXB at 50mph
Into the mailbox post yesterday … need to fix that whole arm, suspension, sway bar. Totally my fault, I feel your pain!
CAN YOU TELL ME ABOUT SHOCKS FOR THE MINI B WHAT SHOCKS ARE THEY AND WHERE TO GET MAN.
Am thinking of getting mine, thanks for the video!
Hi Mark.. what type of portable charger is that you used to charge the battery in this video?
Awesome vid Mark sorry about the hauler
So black pink color was pro se. the red was a jrx2. The blue u got was based on the junior 2. I had a junior t which was the entry level stadium truck. It came with bushings. The jrx2 had the extra suspension links. The junior 2 did not have them but it did have the screw holes for them as an extra add on.
good to know. The black and pink is pretty cool!
The suspension was called the five link suspension came on the jrx2 and the jrxt
quick qns.. is it suitable for a 7yrs old and can it really JUMP.?
i ripped a wheel off my 2wd 1/10 slash on a massive pothole, a real michigan moment.
I got one for my son. It does drive more squirelly than our mini b and mini t do. I assumed it was the tires when we first drove on smooth concrete. Then we took it to loose dirt and it still spun out.
Why not get a mini-split for the garage?
Awesome vid! My son, dad and I all got mini JRX 2 and they are a blast.. PS.. go drive your infraction!
Is it brushless
Doug can back me up with this but just a fun fact those 3 colors were the box art for the first 3 generations of Losi buggies the red was the original the black was the JRXPRO and the Blue was the first molded composite chassis which was the entry level Junior two that was followed by the JRXPRO-Se that had a molded carbon chassis which carried into the XX-XXX generations
Need that, JRx2 looks sweet!
Go one when they first shipped. But sadly never owns the box.
It can wait to put it next to my original jrx pro.
You got the one with the junior 2 box art colors.
Yes On the the jrx 2 it had all those clips. Back I. The day the the suspension was ground braking.
BTW. Check the shock oil. Some people have said their shocks had little to no oil in it even though they felt ok.
Thanks for the pointer!
Bend that rail back in shape for the time being! Don't beat yourself up over it!
Man send it my way. I’ll fix it and give it a home haha. Been wanting a hauler for my monsters
Holy cow, I can't believe you bent the TRX6 chassis rail. lol What the heck. I've never seen that. You had to be flying for that to happen. lol
I was definitely moving... hahaha! that 550 brushless system on 3s is no joke!
Have a good week
No mark that's not what happens when u race a trx6 but when drive a Traxxas period. Traxxas quality for ya lol.
i had the same thoughts on how the mini jrx2 drives. very tricky, I just put it aside.
Use the body clips from the SCX24. They have a rubber pull tab and are way easier to use. Cool vid and I need to find were the carpet track is in DFW.
Those links shouldn't look strange to you, you appear to be about my age. The buggies of the 80s and 90s had suspension links on the side like that, and the jrx2 is supposed to be a throwback.
wanted to see the trx6 bang-up video 😂Come-on, post it!!!
Cool set up
Thats the kinda wreck that requires so much wrenching that it becomes a spiderweb collector lol!
Trust me, i stared at it for quite a long time... hahaha
Had grave digger front servo went out with in one day do not like them Great video
Love the minis
Good evening brother always great video nice review
Not even into vintage type rigs but I definitely want one. I imagine it has the same metal gear transmission as the mini b?
Im not 100% sure... they do share a bunch of parts though
Great thank you
Keep all the rc running is a full time job
That was hilarious and fun.
Great little buggies but bad knock on your big rig!😫
I believe the frame is fiberglass!
Tamiya large body clips will probably be easier :)
Feel your pain brother.
Good thing you got 2 haulers lol
That's how I remember all Losi products lol jj....
Totally thought you were gonna destroy the jrx2 with the trx6 not just wreck the trx6 😂 I feel your pain though man. That scale realism ain’t doin anyone any favors in this situation
This was my first race car!! I wish they made it a 10th scale though. Waist of a re-release ☹️ red was the original color but obviously u painted your own body so mine was black amd fluorescent yellow haha
Cleared your cover was not an option it came clear just like the lexan body did
Don’t you always buy pairs. Time to call the hauler for the hauler🤣. I’m sure it’ll be back up in no time.
Paint job reminds me of bigfoot #8
Just bend it back into place lol 😆
If they made a remake of the rc-10 id be all in.
That's some impressive damage. TRX6 down for the count. Thanks for showing us your fail, the results of it anyway.
Im so sad i didnt get the actual wreck... it happened so fast
Really good price
Nice car
I would pay for a full 1/10 scale one that I could actually race. Don't really care for a toy one.
Fail in my book. For the guys who had a JRX2, we would rather see a 1/10-scale replica. For those who want a mini buggy, get a Mini B. I'm sure they'll sell a bunch but in my mind, just pointless.
the chassis is fiber glass
Mark... you saying these aren't your era allows me to ask how old are you? Must be 30ish
Hammer it out and send it again 😂
Why don't you throw a couple of window air conditioners in those windows
review the infraction🤣
Dang..you looked so sad scratching your head....I can hear it in your voice
First time I see you with your hair messy 😂
hey noob run the front and back clips not the side ones bro, thanks for the vid
