It was the middle of the summer, with temperatures as high as 115F so it wasnt ideal but I just so happened to be in the area and could not pass up the opportunity to visit!
I specifically dedicated a lot weekend because each area of the park is unique! Two days is a minimum! There are also other state parks nearby that you can add to your visit

It was not easy! But i kept my hiking to a minimal! 2-3 miles at most because that heat is BURNING 🥵 but I’m happy with how it all turned out
I’ve never been to Texas but these are a bunch of great reasons to visit!
