    I was sitting next to some Rams fans at this game in the upper deck. Cardinals we’re playing in a playoff game and when Pujols hit a HR they all went crazy. They were listening to it on a handheld radio. I was wearing a Peyton jersey and they were giving some of Colts fans smack talk when they got up by 17 points. We had the last laugh at the end of the game though…. fun times

      As a Colts/Cards fan, that was a bizarre but great night. Unfortunately both teams fell short in the playoffs that season but won it all the next. Awesome times!

    It wasn't all bad for St. Louis on that Monday night: Albert Pujols hit that moonshot HR off Brad Lidge.

      As a Colts/Cards fan, that was a bizarre but great night. Too bad both teams ended up falling short in the playoffs that year, only to finally get it done a year later!

    I remember this being the Manning and Harrison record breaking game. I don't remember the Colts being down 17-0 early lol

      That and the Manning/Saturday blow up on the sidelines. I do remember the Colts getting stomped early and thinking wow this sucks!!

    Time is crazy. How this is almost 20 years ago makes me sad and is almost unbelievable lol. I’d go back immediately if I could.

    Madden said it and I wish football was like this across the board “in the old days a fumble was a fumble”

    33:52- the beginning of the end for Marc Bulger, intercepted by Cato June!!!

      And then Bulger was wiped out by David Thornton on the run back!!

    My thoughts..Cato June was a beast..led the league in tackles many ints..Colts dont re sign him cause they were so cheap on d or we would have had 3 or 4 super bowls.. there was a shot of Howard Mudd O line coach. He was the reason for the Colts success..they drafted O line guys in rounds 5 or 6 for 8 years and turned them into pro bowl guys

    I think around 2003 or 2004 the Colts needed an 8-8 season in which they were getting beat routinely in 40-30 games so they'd do something with the D to make it good rather than being good enough to get by with all the points Peyton et al were scoring. It would've hurt but ultimately, I think it would've helped them win 3 or 4 rings. That weak D caught up with them every playoff except one.

      And the one they did win was because the Bears decided to stop running the ball because Ron Turner wanted Grossman to have a shootout with Manning. Lol

      @playoffexpert3938 Год назад

      That could’ve actually happened in 2004 if Peyton wasn’t so great that year. Colts defense in 05 was actually great they just got unlucky in the playoffs thanks to their kicker

    1:19:38... a slight difference of opinion. When Tarik Glenn stood up, Peyton backed off a little!!! 1:21:34 Tony Parker and Tim Duncan in the house.
