Awkward to open, and unattached by that top lip, which means you need a special technique to open it every time to avoid stressing / stretching that part, which will eventually break. OR you can get a thin strip of double-sided foam pad tape (like it should have come with), and stick that lip bit down so it doesn't flap about when you move the lid ! I have to say, having been testing mine for a few days now in bright sun, it is, at best, partially effective. To get it low enough to block the entire screen from the sun glare it needs to be at less than 60 degrees, at which point it starts blocking both your finger movements on the sticks and the screen itself. It would be helped greatly if all the light couldn't leak in from the sides, but it can, alas.

Are there nit 2 foldout antennas and one internal antenna on this controller? If so this is covering the antenna built in the top part controller. I wonder if this will affect transmission and reception?
I received mine yesterday. As I live in Thailand the sunglare is a serious problem. I yet have to test it. But no way the bag can be closed with everything inside and the sunhood on the RC2
It does fit, but is a hell of a squeeze. But if you put the fly more charger block in another bag, and pack the 3 batteries singly in that compartment, then it all fits much better and lid closes no problem. I get that AND the 3 way power block for my Osmo Action in with it, and relatively bulky sunglasses in the lid section, and that lid still closes !
Kwam er later achter dat het verdeel tussenstuk aan 1 kant met klittenband verstelbaar is en dan past het net wat beter. Het past net, maar dan heb je ook een lekker compact tasje.
