I couldn't agree more. After listening to several videos over the last couple days I have to say this narrator is absolutely fantastic. And they really should be getting paid for such high quality work.
Imagine the ordeal of that one redeemed renegade Astartes trying to go back to the fold, in the search for true brotherhood...He's up for a whole lot of pain and sacrifice, if he's not just tortured or shot on sight, but it would be an amazing story.

This is quality right here. This story is the like we need for chaos boys in the future. More complexities instead of just cartoonish evil. Still some of course cause it's 40k but I think we can agree
Hello everyone! Like I have mentioned before in the community post this piece was created with headphone users in mind. Hope you enjoy this monologue. Thankyou to Tod Townsend for reaching out and allowing me to adapt his work.
@@AVoxintheVoid This topic is really curious to me, a black legion space marine that one day choose to reject chaos and renegade ways and return to the emperors light, possibly as a black shield
Wheeew, for a very long second there I thought the guy would make the choice of accepting the chaos "gifts" in the end. As defining himself to be the very thing he hated for a scene of grimdark hopelessness. Transforming the last strength of a loyalist into the impetus to betray. That would have been twisted.
@@AVoxintheVoid An innocent misunderstanding, I was thinking darker thoughts. Because I never doubted the loyalist staying true, but the Black Legionnaire using the loyalist's last breath to finally transform into a complete monster. Giving in to the never born and Chaos gods. Tod was the writer for this piece, I am but the lowly narrator 😜 I'd love to work properly with baldy in the future. I've done a collaborative piece with him before with other Warhammer narrators but nothing with just the man, the myth, the legend
i like that this shows that chaos turns in on itself not just because it is crazed and insane and teamkills for "teh lolz" but some small fraction say "no, that is where i draw the line" or "even i think that is barbaric behavior" and attacks or at least plots against the portion that pushes that boundary
Brooooooooooo. I never even thought about chaos born space marines actually having sentients. Thats flipping insane to think that they were just born into that kind of power and depravity. That... blows my mind.
Wow! All those additional sound effects made up for the (unexpected) lack of music. Amazing story, the ending was especially good. I got the impression that the 'Crimson Consul' wasn't just resentful/angry with his 'brothers' - he was also unbearably isolated and lonely. The reason Chaos didn't succeed in fully corrupting him was because it couldn't provide him with the one thing he genuinely needed/wanted: a brotherhood. And the end message is important too: there *IS* always a choice. One of the hardest realities of being human is that we must all make choices of one kind or another and those choices (good or bad) *ALWAYS* have consequences. Excellent narration, Vox. You channel is a true treasure to the 40K community. Just don't get burned out, brother. We cherish you too much.

Very well done. It felt very intimate. Secrets you can only share with one going to the grave. What a nihilistic position to be in. Let me just talk to you as you die about the hate I live for. Are these pearls coming out of any actual official book? Or is the script “fan made”?!
99 percent of all my channel is fan made my friend, this being one of them :)
Just stumbled across your channel
Excellent narration and ambiance, thank you!
Do we find out what happens to the last Crimson Consul?
I'm glad you found your way here! Im not sure if Tod ever wrote any more to accompany this piece.
Smells like redemption or exterminator
Is there a follow up to this!? Really enjoyed this
There is not as of yet but you'll find a few of Tods pieces on this channel. He is one seriously gifted author
Sir Christopher Lee? Is that you!!?
I'll take that as a compliment!
My apologies, the voice acting makes me think of Sarumon...meets METAL

Have this dude meet up with the world eater from the last video
Now wouldn't that be a blast
Dude i listened to so many of your audiobook stories, im worried I'll run out. Any other YT channels anyone recommend with the same quality as Vox in the Void? Something not Warhammer so i can have some variety.
I am getting strong ASMR vibes.
Black Legion ASMR
Count yourself lucky it wasn't slannesh. That would have got weird
@@AVoxintheVoid Well, that would certainly have made the evening even more entertaining ;)
