I believe that Pastor Doug Batchelor is a godly man and tells the truth! How about instead of everyone trying to bicker with each other, how about instead everyone reads the HOLY WORD with good intent on searching for the truth and ask GOD for the guidance. Protestant teachings are FULL OF CONTRADICTION.
For example???
1. Protestants preach an "invisible" and "Spiritual" Church, while they hypocritically reach deep down into gullible people's pockets for money in a very "visible" place. Why do Protestants preach an "invisible" or "Spiritual" Church??? To hide the fact and truth they have absolutely no history back to Jesus Christ or beyond a 1500'S "man" Martin Luther.
2. Protestants teach a self contradictory false teaching "Bible Alone", which ironically is found absolutely no where in the Bible.
3. Protestants say "everything has to be in the Bible to be believed". Where is that statement even in Sacred Scriptures??? Instead, what do Sacred Scriptures say??? John 21:25, 2 Thessalonians 2:15 or especially Acts 1:3. Which ONE CHURCH has these "40 days" of Jesus Christ's teachings that are not in the Bible per the Bible???
4. Protestants say "ORAL TRADITION" is to be rejected. Why??? Because, not one "man made" Protestant denomination has history back to Jesus Christ, so they have to reject it - despite what 2 Thessalonians 2:15 clearly says.
5. Protestants say the "pillar and bulwark of TRUTH" is the Bible. 1 Timothy 3:15 clearly states "the Church" singular - meaning the ONE HOLY CATHOLIC AND APOSTOLIC CHURCH - is the "pillar and bulwark of TRUTH", who was the Church that ultimately put the Bible together in the first place.
6. Protestants say "the Bible" is the final authority. As a result, it has led to 35,000 and growing "divisions" - as they each become their own "Pope" deciding what is correct or not. Conversely, we see Jesus Christ giving His final "authority" to resolve faith and moral disputes to His ONE and ONLY established Church being the ONE HOLY CATHOLIC AND APOSTOLIC CHURCH per Matthew 18:17.
7. Protestants preach "Faith Alone". The Bible clearly rebukes this specific false teaching by stating in James 2:24 "NOT BY FAITH ALONE". In John 13:34, Jesus Christ commands us in the NEW COVENANT to "love", which clearly is an action or work that is needed (John 5:29, 15:12, 17, Romans 2:6, Philippians 2:12, Colossians 1:10, Acts 26:20, etc.) for salvation.
8. Protestants say the Holy Eucharist is just "symbolism", which ironically is another word not found in the Bible just like "Bible Alone". However, Jesus Christ Himself (WHO CANNOT LIE) repeats over and over in the Bible "THIS IS MY BODY....THIS IS MY BLOOD" (Matthew 26:26, Mark 14:22, Luke 22:19, John 6:51, 54-58) and is needed for salvation (John 6:54-55) or for "Death to Passover" in the NEW COVENANT PASSOVER (Luke 22:19). Jesus Christ, the "Lamb of God" (John 1:29, 1 Corinthians 5:7, 1 Peter 1:19), is the true fulfilled "forever" GOD liturgically commanded "Bread of the PRESENCE" (Leviticus 24:5-9).
9. Protestants say Matthew 23:9 "call no man father" is an indictment against the Catholic Church priests being called "Father", while they hypocritically call their own biological father's "father".
In that Matthew 23:9 statement of Jesus Christ's, Protestants don't understand Jesus was using a hyperbole teaching emphasizing not to get caught up in honors or titles that can detract from proper worship due to our Heavenly "Father". Proof??? Judges 17:10, 18:19. What did GOD allow His old covenant priesthood to be called??? Philem 10 and especially 1 Corinthians 4:15. What did Catholic St. Paul consider himself in the New Covenant???
10. Protestants say "no statues" or "pictures" as they do not understand we have moved from an old covenant "invisible" GOD to a New Covenant "visible" GOD (Colossians 1:15-23) whom "adopted" us into His Family (Galatians 4:4-7) through "water (Baptism) and Spirit(Laying of Hands)" (John 3:5).
If GOD is now our Heavenly Father, Jesus Christ our King Brother, then who logically would be our Queen Mother??? John 19:27 and Revelation 12:1-6, 17. Per Revelation 12:17, whose children are we really??? Got any statues or pictures of your family???
11. Protestants say "no man" can forgive sins. However, in the old covenant GOD clearly used ordained "men", the Leviticus Priesthood, to forgive sins (Leviticus 5:5-6, Numbers 5:5-9). In Matthew 16:19, 18:18, and specifically explained in John 20:21-23 what same "power" did Jesus Christ give to His ONE and ONLY established Church being the ONE HOLY CATHOLIC AND APOSTOLIC CHURCH or to the NEW COVENANT ordained "men" of GOD???
12. Protestants say the Biblical "Harlot" is the Catholic Church. But, GOD calls who the harlot to the nations in Ezekiel 23:30: "you have played the harlot with the nations and have polluted yourself with their idols". GOD and the prophets repeatedly called the old covenant Jews the harlot for committing adultery and idolatry in GOD'S eyes.
13. Protestants accuse the Catholic Church as "man made" or "pagan". But, what does clear history and the Bible (Matthew 16:19) say???

The irony and contradiction here is each and every single Protestant denomination (35,000 and growing divisions) is truly "man made" all stemming from a 1500's "man" Martin Luther. For instance, Protestant history can easily be revealed like the Seventh Day Adventist denomination was established by a "man" in Battle Creek, MI in 1863AD.

So how is it a man can become pope (Basically Christ or God Himself) and have authority over other men's salvation?

I do not support any church that claims to be the truth, cause none have the truth except God, but I can say for certain that The Roman Catholic Church is the greatest and richest church in the world with a great multitude of faithful followers,
but is the most wicked.
Do not forget, even though Jesus Christ had to die for our salvation, The Catholic Church and The Jewish People (Who claim to be the chosen People/Church of God) were the ones who Murdered Him.
And one more thing, The church are the people, I will admit your magnificent cathedrals are beautiful and a testament to how great God is as we are made in His image, but they are only buildings and buildings cannot save us.
I bow to no man, or religion, or church, or government, only God.
He and His word do not change, unless man changes it to benefit himself, and The Roman Catholic Church and many others are guilty of this. It is an undeniable fact that is written in The Bible and throughout history, To deny it is go against God and humanity alike.

How do all Catholics become His ONE BODY, ONE "VISIBLE" CHURCH, ONE TEMPLE OR ONE BRIDE???
"Real Presence" or Holy Eucharist Defense
1. "Pascal lamb"
In Exodus 12:3-14 GOD "forever" liturgically commands the PASSOVER as a means of proper worship. In the Passover, GOD REQUIRED the "lamb" to be consumed for "Death to Passover" (Exodus 12:3-8). Then Jesus, the "Lamb of GOD" (John 1:29, 1 Corinthians 5:7, 1 Peter 1:19), transforms this "forever" GOD commanded PASSOVER Feast during the "Last Supper" (in every synoptic Gospel account) into the NEW COVENANT PASSOVER (Luke 22:19). Further, in context of the PASSOVER (John 6:4) Jesus Christ's "Bread of LIFE" discourse He REQUIRES us to "abide" in His BODY and BLOOD for "Death to Passover" (John 6:54-58). ***Protestants, Jesus Christ states the consequences of not partaking of Him in John **6:53**.***
Addititional John Chapter 6 Proof??? In John 6:60, everyone was disbelieving Jesus's "hard" teaching (John 6:54-58) about the Holy Eucharist. So, put yourself in Jesus's shoes how would you respond to people disbelieving you??? Wouldn't you want to provide some sort of "proof" or "evidence" you mean what you say??? How does Jesus Christ respond to His disbelievers in John 6:60 and what "proof" will He provide to them and you per John 6:62???
2. "Heavenly Manna"
GOD provided "Spiritual Food and Drink" (1 Corinthians 10:1-4) to His old covenant people, so wouldn't Jesus Christ provide something for His NEW COVENANT chosen people???
Jesus Christ compares Himself to the old covenant "Heavenly Manna" in John 6:31-35. Jesus teaches how the "Heavenly Manna" that came down "daily" will now actually be Him (John 6:51-58).
In the "Our Father" prayer Jesus Christ states "give us THIS DAY OUR DAILY BREAD" that actually refers to the NEW COVENANT MANNA or Jesus Christ Himself as the "BREAD OF LIFE" (John 6:35, 48, 51).
Acts 2:46. The Catholic Church has been "breaking bread (of LIFE) daily" of the NEW COVENANT PASSOVER (Luke 22:19) before the Book of Acts was even written in the mid 60's AD, all along since Jesus Christ's death in 33AD, and to this very day fulfilling Malachi 1:11 prophecy all across the world "daily"!!!
3. "HOW HE WAS MADE KNOWN TO THEM in the Breaking Bread" (Luke 24:35)
In the Luke 24:13-35 "Road to Emmaus" scriptures, there is a clear "structure" of worship being referrenced - being the NEW COVENANT PASSOVER or better known as the Catholic Mass.
In Luke 24:27, there is an opening up of the old testament Sacred Scriptures (Readings). Then, a clear explanation of how Jesus Christ fulfilled all the old covenant prophecies and covenant promises (Homily). Then, we have a "participation in" (1 Corinthians 10:16-17) the NEW COVENANT PASSOVER "breaking of bread" where the "Lamb of GOD" Jesus Christ ultimately becomes "KNOWN" to us.
Protestants, what does Jesus Christ say to you refusing to "break bread" and "become KNOWN" to Him in His ONE and ONLY "Kingdom of GOD" here on earth - being the ONE HOLY CATHOLIC AND APOSTOLIC CHURCH - per Luke 7:21-23??? Still saved???
4. "Bread of the PRESENCE"
Along with the Passover, GOD "forever" liturgically commands the "Bread of the PRESENCE" to be part of proper worship of Him in Leviticus 24:5-9.
In the old Jewish Temple, the old "Heaven and Earth" of worship, a veil seperated two main worship rooms.
In the outer room was the "Bread of the PRESENCE". A veil separated it from the inner room that was called the HOLY of HOLIES, where no one could enter but the High Priest once a year. This inner room the HOLY of HOLIES is where Jews believed God's "real presence" remained.
So, when Jesus Christ died the veil was reported to have been "torn" (Matthew 27:51, Mark 15:38, Luke 23:45). Thus, liturgically speaking there no longer remains any barrier between GOD'S presence and the "Bread of the PRESENCE" (Matthew 28:20).
So, if the veil was "torn" allowing GOD'S presence in the Holy of Holies to flow to the "BREAD of the PRESENCE" in the outer room of worship, then what does the Holy Eucharist or "Bread of the PRESENCE" truly become in the fulfilled NEW COVENANT FORM???
5. "ONE BREAD ONE BODY"
1 Corinthians 10:16-17. If the "many" become "ONE BODY" through "participation in" the ONE SACRIFICE of the "Lamb of GOD" Jesus Christ in the NEW COVENANT PASSOVER, then how can the Holy Eucharist logically be a mere symbol as Protestants purport???
Truly, we can ONLY become ONE BODY (1 Corinthians 10:16-17, Ephesians 5:29-32), ONE FLOCK (John 10:16), ONE TEMPLE (1 Corinthians 3:17), ONE CHURCH (Ephesians 4:4-6), ONE BRIDE (2 Corinthians 11:2) through the "ONE" Jesus Christ (John 6:54-58) the "Lamb of God" (John 1:29, 1 Corinthians 5:7, 1 Peter 1:19) in the NEW COVENANT PASSOVER (Luke 22:19).
6. "EAT AND DRINK JUDGMENT UPON OURSELVES"
1 Corinthians 11:27-29. If "partaking unworthily" is "eating and drinking JUDGMENT upon ourselves", then once again how logically can the Holy Eucharist merely be a symbol as Protestants purport???
7. Partaking of "Divinity" (John 6:55-56, 2 Peter 1:4, Catechism #460) is the only way to become a true Son or Daughter of GOD.
In the Garden of Eden man was created in the "image" and "likeness" of GOD. Through Adam and Eve's disobedience it caused us to lose our "likeness" to GOD (original sin). For how can GOD's "likeness" and goodness ever mix with sin??? (John 3:6, Romans Chapter 5) Jesus Christ is the NEW ADAM OF OBEDIENCE.
In God's beautiful salvation plan He takes a "do not partake" old Adam of disobedience and the removal of the "TREE OF LIFE" (Genesis 3:23), and completely transforms it into telling us to "partake" of the "TREE OF LIFE".
Catholics actually receive His priest, prophet and King "divinity" in the Holy Eucharist, thereby obtaining our "likeness" back if we only partake "worthily" (1 Corinthians 11:27-29). We truly become "divine" Sons and Daughters of GOD by "uniting" with Jesus Christ the NEW ADAM (Romans 5:12-21). As a result, we become a part of GOD'S NEW CREATION (2 Corinthians 5:17, Galatians 6:15, Ephesians 1:10, Colossians 1:15-17, 20) here on earth.
The "TREE OF LIFE" hangs above every Catholic Church altar.
8. "Thanksgiving" or Jewish Todah
In this Jewish Messianic prophecy feast the "lamb" sacrifice had to occur at the same time the "bread and wine" was consecrated. Just as the Jews believed they were "participating in" the original timeless and eternal first PASSOVER when celebrating their old covenant "forever" GOD commanded Passover (Exodus 12:14), so do we Catholics believe we are "participating in" the ONE SACRIFICE of Jesus Christ during the consecration of the bread and wine (1 Corinthians 10:16-17) in the NEW COVENANT PASSOVER.
The Greek "Eucharistia" or English meaning "Thanksgiving" Feast for what Jesus Christ has done for us is the source, summit, and ultimate high point of worship in the NEW COVENANT.
9. "Marriage Supper of the Lamb" (Revelation 19:9).
Every CATHOLIC during the NEW COVENANT PASSOVER "Mass" enters the aisle and approaches the "Bridegroom" Jesus Christ the "Lamb of God" who hangs above every single Catholic altar. We see the "Bridegroom" who emptied Himself out of love for us on the cross - for His ONE and ONLY "BRIDE" - the ONE HOLY CATHOLIC AND APOSTOLIC CHURCH.
The "right and just" response of each and every Catholic is to give all of ourselves back to Him in the "Marriage Supper of the Lamb" NEW COVENANT PASSOVER.

We see throughout the course of history what is of GOD (ONE HOLY CATHOLIC AND APOSTOLIC CHURCH) versus what is of "man" or NOT OF GOD (35,000 and growing Protestant divisions all stemming from a 1500's "man" Martin Luther).
Who absolutely loves division???
Satan just laughs and laughs as Protestants continue to divide over the self contradictory false teaching "Bible Alone" found absolutely no where in the Bible. Satan becomes gleeful when a self righteous Protestant either ignorantly or purposely attacks the ONE and ONLY established Church of Jesus Christ being the ONE HOLY CATHOLIC AND APOSTOLIC CHURCH.

John 17:21-23. Jesus Christ established ONE CHURCH, prayed and died for what???
Which ONE CHURCH that can "prove it" historically and Biblically???
Don't mind "One True Faith". The Catholic Church is definitely NOT the church that was established by Jesus. They also teach you to confess your sins and receive forgiveness from a priest (btw a mortal erring person), when the Bible says we are seek forgiveness of sins from the Lord. Yes, the priests and Pope are all sinners too. How do we know? The Bible clearly states in Romans 3:23 " for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,"
As a former Catholic, I can say that Catholic teaching and doctrines do not come from the Bible. The doctrines of their faith are grounded upon paganism and tradition of men. Also their is absolutely no scripture verse that tells us to pray to "St. Peter" or Mary. We are to pray to God through the name of Jesus.
For one, they teach that the Pope is God, and they also teach that the dead go to either hell ,purgatory, or heaven after death. This is a lie, and this teaching of theirs stands in direct contrast to what the Bible teaches on the subject of death. Also, they love to bow down to graven images, and pray to the dead saints. We are to pray to Jesus instead.
When seeking out a Church to worship and fellowship in, ask yourself this: Do they teach from the Bible and the Bible alone for all matters relating to doctrine, OR do they teach according to the traditions on men?
One True Faith states one correct point though, and that is that Satan loves division. But he also loves disobedience to God's law too. The Catholic church likes obedience, so long as you are obedient to THEIR law and not the Law of God.
I also notice that as a former Catholic, they never taught about the literal Second Coming of Jesus (Matthew 24:1-44) and our need to be spiritually ready. THEY SHOULD!
Let's look at a few more points on doctine...
Does God change? Then how can His law (written on stone tablets) change? What source authorized the Biblical Sabbath to be changed?
What does the Bible say on this subject?
Malachi 3:6 "For I am the Lord, I do not change."
Psalms 89:34 "My covenant I will not break, nor alter the word that has gone out of My lips."
What about Jesus, does he change?
Hebrews 13:8 "Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever."
What did the apostles say in regards to obeying God instead of man?
Acts 5:29 "But Peter and the other apostles answered and said: "We ought to obey God rather than men."
So what authority admits to changing the Sabbath of God's 10 Commandments? There is no Bible verse(s) to support this question, so we will have to rely upon the actual non-Biblical source regarding the change.
In Faith of Our Fathers, pg. 561, Cardinal John Gibbons states, "But you may read the Bible from Genesis to Revelation, and you will not find a single line authorizing the sanctification of Sunday. The Scriptures enforce the religious observance of Saturday, a day which we never sanctify."
Cardinal Gibbons sure is honest about this issue, but does that make the change right? No. It is clear that Saturday (7th Day) is the true Sabbath.
Let us examine yet another source on this issue:
Our Sunday Visitor (February 5, 1950):
"Practically everything Protestants regard as essential or important they have received from the Catholic Church... The Protestant mind does not seem to realize that in accepting the Bible and observing the Sunday, in keeping Christmas and Easter, they are accepting the authority of the spokesman for the church, the Pope."
It is ok to accept the Bible and the Bible alone, but Sunday or (the 1st Day of the week for those of you caught up on semantics) is not in the Bible, be it the Old or New Testament.
How about these three (3) sources:
Louis Gaston Segur, Plain Talk about the Protestantism of To-Day (London: Thomas Richardson and Son, 1874): 213:
"Thus the observance of Sunday by the Protestants is a homage they pay, in spite of themselves, to the authority of the (Catholic) Church." Here they (Catholics) make fun of Protestants. Martin Luther had his 95 point theses, but why not break fully away from Papal Rome and their false Sabbath (Sunday) observance?
Catholic American Sentinel (June 1893):
"Sunday...It is a law of the Catholic Church alone…"
Catholic Record (September 1, 1923):
"The [catholic] Church is above the Bible, and this transference of the Sabbath observance is proof of that fact."
Point on! If you observe Sunday, then you pay lip service to the authority of the Pope and Papal Rome. (See above: Acts 5:29 "We ought to obey God rather than man.")
This one ought to make the hair on the back of your neck stand up and tingle, read the following:
The Question Box,” The Catholic Universe Bulletin (August 14, 1942): 4:
"The (Catholic) Church changed the observance of the Sabbath to Sunday by right of the divine, infallible authority given to her by her Founder, Jesus Christ. The Protestant claiming the Bible to be the only guide of faith, has no warrant for observing Sunday. In this matter, the Seventh-day Adventist is the only consistent Protestant." NOTE: Notice how they state "...right of the divine, infallible authority given to her by...Jesus Christ." They didn't say Jesus authorized the Sabbath change, only that the Catholic church is exercising a so-called right granted to them by Jesus.
So in reading this passage from the Catholic Universe Bulletin from 1942, they clearly state why they [Catholics] observe the 1st day of the week or Sunday. But what rationale do so-called Protestants have for observing Sunday in place of the true Sabbath? None, unless they acknowledge the supremacy and authority of the Pope! And if this is the case, then Protestants might just as well become Catholics.
Here is yet another source to ponder:
John A. O'Brien, The Faith of Millions: the Credentials of the Catholic Religion Revised Edition (Our Sunday Visitor Publishing, 1974): 400-401:
"But since Saturday, not Sunday, is specified in the Bible, isn't it curious that non-Catholics, who claim to take their religion directly from the Bible and not from the Church, observe Sunday instead of Saturday? Yes, of course, it is inconsistent; but this change was made about fifteen centuries before Protestantism was born, and by that time the custom was universally observed. They have continued the custom even though it rests upon the authority of the Catholic Church and not upon and explicit text in the Bible. That observance remains as a reminder of the Mother Church from which the non-Catholic sects broke away-like a boy running away from home but still carrying in his pocket a picture of his mother or a lock of her hair."
Not only do the Catholics actually admit to changing the 7th Day Sabbath to Sunday, they claim to have the authority to do so. And yet they make fun of Protestants for observing the Catholic "sabbath".
Keating, Karl (1988). Catholicism and Fundamentalism: The Attack on "Romanism" by "Bible Christians" pg.38
"It was the Catholic Church that decided Sunday should be the day of worship for Christians, in honor of the resurrection."
The Pope "claims" to be God.
Pope Leo XIII, Praeclara Gratulationis Publicae (The Reunion of Christendom), June 20, 1894: "We hold upon this earth the place of God Almighty."
The Bible foretold these false claims would take place:
2 THESSALONIANS 2:4 "Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God."
Daniel 7:25 "And he shall speak great words against the most High, and shall wear out the saints of the most High, and think to change times and laws…"
There is a difference between the law of Moses, and the everlasting Law of God. Most Christians will at least agree that 9 Commandment are still valid, but how and when did the 4th Commandment become a "Jewish" thing that was done away with? How come as Christians, we refuse to accept the fact that all of the 10 Commandment are still valid? They are either ALL valid or invalid. (It is not algebra, where you isolate x to solve for y. You can't isolate the 4th Commandment either.) It can not be both. We can't pick and choose which ones we want to uphold, and which ones are too much of an inconvenience to our lifestyles to uphold.
Some of you will say,"Oh but I will lose my $150k a year desk job" or " I won't get hired into that cozy $150k a year desk job if I decide to obey God and keep the Sabbath!" Take a stand; will you obey God, or are the treasures of life more important?
This sounds like the dilemma of the rich young ruler mentioned in the book of Luke. ( We also can read about the Rich Young Ruler it in Matthew 19:18-24 and Mark 10:19-23).
Let's read this passage in Luke 18:20-24 (look at verse 20-22)
"
20 "Thou knowest the commandments, Do not commit adultery, Do not kill, Do not steal, Do not bear false witness, Honour thy father and thy mother.
21 And he said, All these have I kept from my youth up.
22 Now when Jesus heard these things, he said unto him, Yet lackest thou one thing: sell all that thou hast, and distribute unto the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come, follow me.
23 And when he heard this, he was very sorrowful: for he was very rich.
24 And when Jesus saw that he was very sorrowful, he said, How hardly shall they that have riches enter into the kingdom of God!
25 For it is easier for a camel to go through a needle's eye, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God."
Two things are important to note about these few verses in Luke.
1. Jesus clearly reinforces the validity of the 10 Commandments by quoting 5 Commandments directly. Does that mean only those 5 are valid? Someone will say, "Ah yes, but he didn't mention the Sabbath day!" Yes, but he didn't mention "Thou shalt not take the Lord's name in vain" or "Thou shalt have no other gods before me" either, now did he? Does that make it ok to do so?
2. The love of riches and gain in this life by the Rich Young Ruler was more important than following Jesus. Note in verse 23 how the Young Ruler went away sad and not happy. Wealth won't bring happiness apparently. For even though the Young Ruler obeyed the 10 Commandments "...since his youth…", there was still something lacking in his life that only Jesus could see, which was the love of wealth. It is not wrong to be wealthy, but when it is all-consuming and surpasses your commitment to Jesus, then it becomes an obstacle or stumbling block to spiritual growth. Jesus sought to free the Young Ruler from this spiritual handicap.
Let's look at a few more verses:
Matt 13:22 "He also that received seed among the thorns is he that heareth the word; and the care of this world, and the deceitfulness of riches, choke the word, and he becometh unfruitful."
Luke 6:46
"And why call ye me, Lord, Lord, and do not the things which I say?"
So let us not be one who just "…heareth the word…" but let all of us be a doer of the word. James 1:22 "But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves."
John 13:17 "If ye know these things, happy are ye if ye do them."
John 15:10 "If you keep My commandments, you will abide in My love, just as I have kept My Father’s commandments and abide in His love."
We are saved by grace and faith in Jesus, but "...faith without works is dead…"
We do not keep God's Law to be saved, we keep it because we are saved. Obedience is a fruit of our salvation. Remember: A bad tree can not produce good fruit, nor a good tree bad fruit.

I love Doug's Biblical study programs because he explains the topic well, and back up his thesis statement with biblical fact. Secondly, he does not twist biblical fact to support some sort of political interest/lobbyist groups such as other tv evangelists do, to which I wont mention name.

He claims that Jesus did not appear before His Father until the year 1844 when his prophet Ellen White showed up. What's more, she states that God never died on the cross but only a man. He teaches what she wrote. Why don’t you call the conference office in Northern California and tell them you do not believe Doug Bachelor believes this way-they will call him up on the carpet and ask him to return his

I can select any number of Bible verses and start a whole new doctrine---but it would be a false one. Hermeneutics is the word used for the method of uncovering Biblical truth--or the correct interpretation of the Word. If you only string texts together without a proper search of Biblical words in their historical setting, then you will have what we have always had in the Christian religion, a legion of denominations. 2000 years have demonstrated that there are some slick talkers, taking words out of context, and will lead you down the wrong path. Many will go happily to the gates of destruction thinking "We've got the truth!" All major teachings of Doug Batchelor are of this sort. They can be refuted and shown to be incorrect. There is a strong motive for teaching error; can you guess what that is?

Unfortunately Saul listened to a lying spirit instead of inquiring of the Lord. We must examine the old covenant to fully understand the NEW COVENANT. In Leviticus 5:5-6 and Numbers 5:5-9 we understand what an old covenant Jew had to do to receive GOD's forgiveness. The error is in the translation. The original greek texts didn't have punctuation or spaces between every word. What is says is in greek basically is,"TrulyIsayUntoYouTodayYouWillBeWithMeInParadise." I'm sorry if I wasn't clear enough. Here is my point, people often quote this verse to support their view that people go to heaven or "hell" the very same day they die. This doctrine isn't supported by the Bible. If that was the case though the whole purpose of Jesus second coming to resurrect the dead saints and pronounce judgment is made redundant.

Dont worry, the bible doesnt say that the ones who pass away become demons, but the demons are the fallen angels which were cast away from heaven together with satan himself, they are the ones who torment and torture ppl. the story of Lazarus is a parable and the thief on the cross the punctuation is not on the right word it should read," I say to you today, you shall be with me in paradise". The bible translators just got the punctuation wrong because Jesus didn't go to the Father that day so the thief would not be with him in paradise that day.

Yes, but the next verse it says Samuel tells Saul, it doesn't say demon or speak from Saul's point of view. He then makes some rather precise prophecies, about the outcome of the battle, Saul and his son's death, and David succeeding in his place. I don't think we can substitute Demon in place when the Bible says Samuel.

Why do you say Paradise is heaven? The Bible says, 1Pe 4:6, "Unto this end was the gospel proclaimed also to those who are dead..." and Eph 4:-9-, "But that 'He ascended'--what it is but that He also first descended into the lower parts of the earth? Therefore He says: 'When He ascended on high, He led captivity captive, and gave gifts to men.'" That's where they met. Hopefully the other robber, too, believed. Read Heb 12:22-24. What does 2Co 5:1-8 mean other than to be there, too, Heb 12:23?

The seventh day is invented by God himself when he rested from his creation on the seventh day, he then proceeds to mention it throughout the bible and asks us to keep it holy for just that reason, as in the fourth commandment of Exodus 20. I have felt a presence of a deceased loved one. Like maybe sitting right next to u. Sometimes, u feel a slight, cool breeze when no window is open and no fan is running.
