Last night I was attack and the demon's num my body that I could not speak and felt them entering me, they num me so I could not call the name of Jesus but within my iner voice in my mind I rebuked the demon's in Jesus name and within that second I felt free and heard them pounding on a wall and I believe I was shielded from them and can hear them cursing me and yelling voilently at me, I called in the name of Lord Jesus and again within that second they left. Glory to God through Lord Jesus.
We all need these reminders. Thxs be to our CREATOR!

I used to be so confident in my metaphysical understandings. I realized that simply saying that evil and sickness is an illusion didn't make any of it go away. I still had to deal with the realities of my environment. I was brought down and humbled by God. He made me realize that all my wisdom and knowledge could not save me.This removed a great burden upon me and I was able to finally rest in God's grace.It made God, not simply an intellectual and philosophical concept for my ego, but a Father.
Doug is a true teacher who is always prepared for his lessons. Most Christian TV does not compare to this show. Love to your ministry.

I was tormented tortured by demons they would keep me awake for days, when I did sleep they physically attacked me . I couldn't stand it. I tried getting help from local churches but, they didn't help. I was desperate. I found Russ Dizdar, his vids say u can have demons & be oppressed,instead of possessed, I didn't know that B 4. What makes Christianity difference from every other religion, philosophy and system of human thought is that it is not an attempt by man to find, grasp, explain or make any effort towards God. It is God reaching to man and offering a way out of his predicament solely by what He does for us. God offers us salvation through Jesus Christ. This salvation causes man to be born again and receive the Holy Spirit, who is indeed Omnipresent. Man's ego seeks complexity and yet the Gospel is very simple.

Yes they wait until you are at your weakest, one used to kick me awake through the mattress ! I'm no longer afraid, now when I sense they're about to attack me, and I know because the clocks start ticking loudly when they pass thru other rooms, I say aloud "JESUS CHRIST rebukes you" then "Hey demon JESUS CHRIST rebukes you". One nite a demon, was 'on' me, and I said that, and every time I said it, the demon got weaker ! Then I bind them in HIS Name, and ask The FATHER to loose angels to attack..
Beautifully formulated statement of oneness. Everybody is right, nobody is wrong, there's no absolutes, no central authority, no law and everybody is a microcosm of the entire universe, containing all the necessary attributes of godhood and life's only purpose is to experience matter for fun and games.
As a Christian, I must warn you that this philosophy is the deception of satan; the lie from the garden of Eden. Salvation comes through Jesus Christ only. No other way.

If I was this preacher I would start by not scaring people and allowing them to know GOD created good and evil, and a person cannot conceive evil without knowing good. So every positive must have its negative in order for GOD to see who will we follow, Him or satan. If we follow Christ, our Lord will never leave us nor forsake us and we can avoid falling into temptations. Luke 10:19
Absolutely brilliant. What about Adventists who seriously backslide?; cause fellow Adventists attitude is tut tut tut while quoting Hebrews 10:26, "For if we sin wilfully (knowingly)after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remained no more sacrafice for sins"! So is that it for them then, cut off, castaway, shipwreck of faith, hopelessly lost? Alot of Adventists are made/or left to feel like this, dissalusioned, despondent, bewildered and scream out in desperation, "LORD,I do believe, please help thou mine unbelief oh me of little faith"!
It is my obligation as a Christian to inform you that God can only become known through a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and a life born again through the Holy Spirit. He used to be partly known through the law and the prophets, and people needed to go through the priests to contact God; but God sent us His son Jesus Christ who died on the cross on our behalf. The former things have passed away and man is now reconciled with God. Jesus is returning shortly, are you ready to meet Him?
Avoiding is not the same as ignoring. If I am avoiding someone, I cross the street when I see him coming. If I am ignoring him, I stay where I am and look through him.
While we should avoid (not seek out) demons et al. When someone is possessed, we shouldn't ignore them! They are suffering. We should minister to them. Without engaging the demon overmuch. Call on Jesus. If you must address the demon, only do so to tell him that the person he is in belongs to Christ now.

The concept of interconnected oneness and quantum physics where everything is eternal and there's nothing to fear is a very appealing one. It is very attractive to the human mind. Unfortunately, it creates the pinnacle of human arrogance and self-reliance where there's no responsibility or consequences.The paradox of self-reliance coupled with the belief that no human choice has any eternal consequence.It turns the sacredness of life into an eternal hedonistic trip of experience.

Which is why the holy spirit is a humble spirit. I enjoyed this commentary very much. I hope Christians will take note of the dangers of Pride. Stick to Jesus and the Ten commandments but keep an open mind, their is so much to learn it's not even funny ;)

Again, I used to believe as you do. I was associated with a non-duality belief systems and quantum physics. I used to debate Christians on metaphysical subjects. I eventually realized that simply explaining away 90% of human experience as "illusion" never made it go away. Nothing can work without polarization. Even when viewed pragmatically, one realizes that holding the belief in oneness gains you nothing of any practical value, rather it detaches you from reality and the world around you.
I understand the point you are making.Looking at it in a purely pragmatic way, you could ask yourself,what practical benefit do I derive from letting God be? Even if you do not consider the implications for the afterlife, what actual benefit do you gain by rejecting a belief system that offers you a spiritual paradigm with a workable thought structure in which to live a meaningful life? Man needs structure and a workable methodology.No viable connection to the greater picture can work otherwise.

This is the first video I came across that makes a difference (in the title) of "Demons, Devils,and Evil Spirits"... while many students don´t even know there is a difference. In fact many don´t even know why our Lord allows such evil/negative ones to have any kind of power. I think I am going to stay and listen to what this person has to say about it....

SDA's: What does GOD's promise in Hosea 2:11 and what Jesus Christ did per Colossians 2:14-17 have in common???
the handwriting of ordinances and the Sabbaths in hosea were all in the ceremonial law which was never placed inside the ark. only the pot of mana, Aarons rod that budded and the tables written with Gods own finger were inside the ark. there were different types of Sabbaths included in the feast days and also 2 types of yearly Sabbaths(the land Sabbath every 7 years and the yearly Sabbath of the jubilee). these Sabbaths were done away with at the cross. very simply the Sabbath in the 10 commandments was never nailed to the cross just as the law, the moral law, wasn't , done away with or changed by God or Christ since they change not...."I am the Lord, I change not". a very simple question....if the moral law was nailed to the cross and John tells us in 1john that sin is the transgression of the law, then why do we still need a savior, if there is no law for us to sin against or show us our sin? really, the whole thing is this, because so many from the pulpits of churches today and for years have been preaching that very idea people do see their sin and jesus has become nothing more than a savior to "make me feel good," or "to bless me." that sounds more like a magic genie lamp than a savior to save me from the both the penalty of sin and the the bondage of sin. yes the bondage and slavery of sin. He came to not save us in our sins but save us from sin.

The problem with that is; if you did not have a belief system, you would not have been able to make the statement that the Holy Bible is "worthless". That statement requires a belief system. Confronted by inconvenient truths can easily be defined as "preaching", however, you may be doing much more than simply exercising your brain here.There may be a lot more at stake here than you realize. Don't stop pursuing the answers to your questions. E Komo Mai !,the door of God's house is open to you.

Don't you think Christ would have mentioned the Holy Spirit if he was another 'person' of the Godhead. Surely it would have been fatal to believers if he left him out?
This is very revealing because it shows that you consider yourself the ultimate power based on where you allow the energy of your thoughts to flow. It reveals a belief in a god that is simply an impersonal power that permeates the universe and one's experience is solely based on how he uses such power through his own mind. If this was the case, we would be living in a paradise where everyone's maximum ideal could be projected into reality.This is the lie of the garden of eden.

Did this experience confirm a preexisting belief system or have any similarity to some ideas you already possessed? Based on this experience of a heaven beyond imagination, did you get any insights into the purpose of the dualism we now experience in the material world? Have you resolved the problem of evil in way which offers practical means for dealing with it?

Pastor Doug said the word "rapture" doesn't appear in the Bible. The word “rapture” in Scripture is taken from the Latin “rapio” for the two words “caught up” used in 1 Thessalonians 4:17. It has come into popular use today to refer to the Lord Jesus coming for the church, to lift her up into the heavens. One raptured is “lifted up” in love. Doug does explain this in other vids I've heard!!
Since what I believe is based on the Holy Bible, it would appear to be pointless to elaborate to you something for which you have already predetermined is "worthless"; however, since I do not rely on my own human judgment, I will venture to elaborate and answer you with the hope that the Holy Spirit will guide my words and lead you to God's grace. My confidence is not in my own understanding or intellectual capacity, but what the Lord Jesus Christ as worked in me by His grace and mercy. Cont....
The bottom line is that you cannot achieve salvation by your own intellectual capacity. If this was possible, we would all be living in paradise.If our mind is the ultimate center of power and each individual could fulfill the maximum of his ideals, again, we would be living in paradise.Yet evil and chaos exist despite the so-called power of the mind. Why? How much influence do you actually have over your environment?Appealing to a so-called inner power is not the answer.

You know what I was thinking? If everything is oneness and all is perfect and harmonious, then this means that there is no right and wrong and your disagreeing with my point of view is a contradiction of the very idea of oneness you hold. This means that there isn't even any basis for conversation since everybody is right, for each person is on a difference spiritual evolutionary path towards the ultimate state of godhood where all personality is annihilated into oneness.
That would be workable only in a non-dualist universe. Unfortunately, we simply cannot deny that we live in a dualistic universe.Once this is admitted, we can then understand that their are two opposing forces working against each other. Depending on your spiritual make-up while experiencing a NDE, one side or the other may have more influence over the content of your experience. Christians who have had NDEs confirmed the reality of Jesus Christ. Which experience is to be trusted then?

Your line of thinking is very similar to the teachings of Joel S. Goldsmith as outlined in his book "The Thunder of Silence". Mr. Goldsmith used to teach in Hawaii. I have studied his books and they do offer a workable and appealing system of thought for dealing with and explaining the existence of evil. The problem is that simply saying that everything is perfect and harmonious does not have any tangible effect on human experience or environment. This too is a deception leading away from Jesus.

How long did it take to proove that other planets exist, infact the astrologers still believe there are many more heavenly bodies out there that are not yet discovered. If this is the case..... Then how long could it take to proove the Almighty one who created these all??? At the end of time EVERY EYE will see HIM(maybe this is the proof u need) but then it will be too late for salvation. Then how do you explain that children from diverse backgrounds have had the same experiences even before any such beliefs can be implanted into their minds. We know that the human mind can imagine an almost infinite variety things. If it was purely imagination, these children's testimonies would reflect this vast variation. This is not the case; they all have specific details in common which would indicate a real phenomenon.

@UncleBadTouch100 Brother, upon close analysis of Scripture, you can be sure that Jesus is also Michael (He who is like God) The Arch-Angel. Michael the Arch Angel has been shown in the Old testament to forgive sin, be referred to as God, and even be worshipped as God (while Gabriel and other angels have rebuked others for doing so to themselves). Michael was merely Jesus' natural state in Heaven before He was sent to earth... To put it another way, Jesus was probably called Michael in Heaven

Doug is mistaken, I had many demons oppressing/tormenting/torturing me. Due to the excellent Deliverance Ministries of Win Worley, Don Dickerman, Russ Dizdar, and more. I had the demons cast out of me by the name & power of JESUS CHRIST. You must repent of all sin, close all doors to Satan. JESUS didn't allow the demons to speak because it caused HIS fame to spread, & got HIM crucified.You couldn't cast out anything, by listening to Doug., he's usually spot on, but not this time Beware !
The Holy Bible documents a process through which God's plan of salvation unfolds throughout human history. This is the reason such apparent inconsistencies.I have abstained from quoting Bible verses because of your rejection of the legitimacy of its content.This has forced me to attempt to formulate my own arguments, hoping for guidance. When I said can you back that up. The actual answer was no. You did not back up your statement. There was no evidence provided. The Bible is not a totally factually accurate document. 'Noah's Ark'? 'Man was made from dust', 'Women made from a mans rib' etc. are not facts.

I can only speak for myself, I have never ridiculed ANY evidence from the Bible, a bronze-age text book written by people who were less educated than the average 5 year old today.
You make a reference to 'nuts', which I assume you mean is mental illness? I think all atheists want is some sort of tangible evidence. Society today is typically based on evidence; Science, Medicine, Law. I don't think asking for evidence makes them crazy. By the way, YOU are an atheist. Just ask anyone who doesn't use the bible for their brand of religion? There are a few thousand religions who will disagree with you and call you a blasphemer.

Noah's world wide flood theory: explain to me the logistics of how this would have worked? 8 crew, plus Noah with at least 2 million different animals, birds etc. How could they have been fed, watered, have a safe area so they didn't kill each other. Imagine trying to herd them onto the 'ark'. That is not easy even with thousands of crew. Does this sound realistic to you?
I have belief, in myself and other people who take control of their own lives. I made the decision after being brought up as a christian that I value truth over myth.

I can see you have lost your temper here and also missed the point. I am not really arguing anything yet. You haven't given me anything to argue against. Which is that repetitive thing you mentioned. The evidence thing. What I should have said is strong evidence, my fault.
By saying someone is ridiculous and childish because they ask for evidence, is pretty childish and ridiculous itself. I am more than willing to believe something if evidence is presented. Nobody is saying Christianity doesn't exist. They will argue though that Christ wasn't the son of god, as 'God' doesn't exist. Again nobody is saying that certain historical events didn't happen. I'm sure they did. A big flood isn't unbelievable

You can know God personally only through Jesus Christ.That was one of the purposes of His mission.To make God known by direct personal interaction with mankind.This direct and personal interaction is still available to mankind through the workings of the Holy Spirit.This Spirit can be attained by accepting salvation by grace through Jesus Christ,by His works,not ours.It may sound nice to think of God as just an energy in everything, but this is incorrect.God is personal and revealed in the Bible
The realities of experience in this world destroy completely the idea of oneness. The theory of oneness simply cannot stand on its own claims. If you have to claim human experience to be illusion in order to sustain your belief system, then there are no absolutes, no authority, no laws and even personal identity and consciousness start to fade from your grasp. If oneness was fact, we would be living in an eternal paradise. Just look at the world!! What was the mission of Jesus Christ?
Well it has actually, however lets say that is hasn't. It has never been demonstrated to be true, not one single time, you can't just say its true because it hasn't been absolutely proven to be false. We haven't absolutely proven for a fact that there are absolutely 0 planets made entirely of chocolate icecream, however it would be obsurd to say "there is a factual planet made of icecream" in the universe unless you can demonstrate your claim to be true.
All things must operate within the confines of a predetermined and intelligently designed system.This system of operation is simply followed for the purpose of functioning according to the intended design of the Maker.We don't idolize the dogma but take comfort and peace in the law and word of Him who made us.There is no other way to operate correctly and with purpose.These specific confines are what is lacking in all-encompassing spiritual systems of man which satisfy the mind and not the soul.
