The photos you managed to get with Phoenix are definitely the best I’ve seen so far, you really leaned into the imperfections and made them work for you. I just got a order of rolls today. I’m excited to use them on a fashion campaign!
So exciting to have a brand new colour film stock! It definitely has a particular look to it and agree that the shots rated at 200 and perfectly exposed or slightly over exposed work better than under exposed 👍🏼👍🏼 great work as always Sophia 🙌🏼
I love your pictures, especially the inside and outside of the train. I've heard from some users it's best to shoot it at 160iso to get a little more from the midtones and shadows.
Wow, looks like an interesting film. Would try it at 100 too, just to test. After a long time of BW Film only I shot some colour films and an XP2. In our course at VHS (Something like conmunity college or WEA) we made a fototour with colour film and we developed them with a Cinestill C41 Kit.
Good idea, I’ll definitely give it a go at 100 and see! Ooh I like XP2 a lot but I’ve only shot it the once and it was an expired roll. That reminds me to pick some more up! And ah amazing that sounds so exciting!
I saw a interview with the developpers of the film. They said the real iso is around 125. However, because of the halations using a higher iso will probabily be better.
Yeah I haven’t really been able to gauge properly how it works with skin tones yet because I haven’t shot enough variety at enough different speeds, but I think from what I’ve seen so far, I can agree

The results get me excited, nice shots Sophia. Need to get a roll and try now, hehe! Keen on seeing how the prints turn out as u mentioned.
Ah definitely! Let me know what you think of it once you try it out!

It’s such a positive thing for the industry! Really excited to see the continuation of Harman’s colour film journey!

Thank you so much! After shooting at 200, that doesn’t surprise me that people enjoy it at 160! I’ll have to give it a go. Thanks again!
Great video! Perfect insight into this new film stock. I'm looking forward ti picking a few rolls up. - Hayden
Thanks for watching! I hope you enjoy shooting with it, I'm really looking forward to testing it some more

Thank you!! That’s one of my faves too, I think it’s a good example of how the colours render. I’m really excited to shoot more with it too!
thanks for a such great review!)
Thank you so much!
looking forward to the print video
Thank you! I'm hoping to get that out in the new year once I've had chance to get into the darkroom again!
I'd love to see your experience in enlarging from it, especially how to handle the not orange film base.
I'm booked in for a session on Saturday in the darkroom and will be testing it out then!
Do you know the scanning process used here? These look great but some others seem to be getting really odd scans
These were all scanned by Harman themselves, so whatever the guidance for Phoenix is on the website will be how they’re scanned, I imagine!

I feel like this stock works well for darker skin tones, similar to Pro 400H in that respect

Support them so many company will design brand new unique film. I think this film better suited for photo artist.
