Flattening brand new whetstone

Never assume your brand new whetstone out of the box is flat and ready for use. This is a new Naniwa Gouken Kagayaki 5000 grit whetstone and see if it is flat? I'm adding this to my routine for creating smooth rideline finishes on Salon hair shears.
