To be honest I don't think she has changed a lot, sure she was very nervous but she got the spirit even at that time. She is more confident sure but to me is absolutely hilarious how she gets progressively louder with each passing year hahaha.
She did change, but not in her way of being. She got more interested in animes and mangas to get closer to the other talents, and she even started gaming and developed a passion for it, something she was never interested into growing up, also to get closer to the others and understand them better. More than that have changed in our lovable duck, but even just that would be tremendous change for anyone, Developing 3 completely new passions in 2 short years not just to fit in, but to understand others better isn't possible for everyone, but she wasn't afraid of trying and she's having the time of her life doing so.
I mean, she has said that her voice is really loud to the point that she has to set her mic to tone it down. So you could say that she hasn't become louder with time but instead decided to reveal her true power.
i have this theory that subarus original lore was supposed to be something about her being an alien in disguise that likes baseball and travel to earth to play/watch it (the alien part was going to be revealed later on after her debut) but the jokes about her being a duck where so many and came so quickly that they scrapped that and just went with the flow and decided she just was a duck and thats why she seems kinda out of place and too normal when compared with the rest of the gen 2 that are more fantasyish (vitual maid, witch, oni, and succubus) im mainly basing this on that her name oozora means big sky and subaru is the name of the pleiades in japanese and the fact that her second costume seems to have a star motif

It's interesting comparing Subaru's debut with Pekora's debut. For Pekora the nerves were exceedingly obvious with how quiet and hesistant she was to do anything; her personality one year later was night-and-day. Subaru's personality hasn't changed to nearly the same degree, but her nerves in her first stream showed in a totally different way. She was still talkative but fumbled so many of her word choices that it's actually endearing and hilarious.
looking at pekora or subaru cringy debut. i can see the later gen learning on what to do. gen 5 and holo en nailed their debut for example, thanks to old gen

Hololive ran into some massive copyright / permissions issues sometime around... June I think? Nearly every member had a significant number of their videos privated just as sort of a safety measure. It differed by person, iirc the one who had it worst was Ayame who at one point had like 5 videos still up on her entire channel. (well technically Mio was the one who had it worst since she couldn't stream for a month but I mean of the others). Old videos have been getting restored here and there but my understanding is it takes a fair bit of effort to ddo the checks and get the permissions and stuff. Fubuki has a lot of hers back, as does Shion, but by "a lot" I mean like 65%+. The newer members also have a pretty high % just because they had fewer videos to get privated in the first place. Whoever was in charge of privating Subaru's videos messed up somewhere in the early panic and accidentally just straight up deleted a bunch of them :/
