I'm right there with you with the walking slow thing. People act like they have all the time in the world. Particularly on the escalator. I used to do delivery and there was one building in town that had an escalator, and it was always crowded because nobody does the thing LITERALLY EVERY OTHER COUNTRY DOES where they stand to the right if they're there for the ride, leaving the left open for anyone with shit to do.
