Hello and welcome to The Ricky Gervais show. With me, Ricky Gervais, Stephen Merchant - “hello” - and the little round headed buffoon that is Karl Pilkington. “Alrigh?”
I just want a movie where Ricky gervais Goes around hunting people like poachers and people that commit animal cruelty And insults them before he kills them Maybe even a superhero that wears all black ? Well a black T-shirt Is that too much to ask
trongborg Definitely. His ego makes him think he can do it alone, when Special Correspondents, Life on the Road, and Derek prove otherwise. I swear ppl love Ricky bc they loved the Office. He still is adored despite releasing rubbish for years.
There's an element of irony in Karl Pilkington, someone Ricky Gervais routinely mocked for being an "idiot", currently producing better scripted material than Ricky. (Talking about Derek, by the way. I have no idea how this will turn out, but going by Ashley Jenson's "I've never seen someone so sad" line, I fear it's going to be another Ricky Gervais piece where we're told how to feel, rather than through visuals and the character's actions, etc.)...I miss The Office.
I really like the look of this show but that one "so sad" line made me cringe with memories of the final episodes of Derek. I love Derek but that last episode where they're all licking Derek's arsehole and crying about how wonderful he is was uncomfortably disappointing. I hope this series avoids that.
Everything you've ever put out is gold in my opinion. And this is no exception. Can relate so much to the character so far. I can't wait. Great to see a lot of the characters from Derek - especially Kev! :D Thank you for giving us more of your outstanding work, Ricky!

i hope its in Canada. I love Rickys shows .I have loved everything he has made .
Ricky and the women act so well together especially in derek
I just want a movie where Ricky gervais
Goes around hunting people like poachers and people that commit animal cruelty
And insults them before he kills them
Maybe even a superhero that wears all black ? Well a black T-shirt
Is that too much to ask
He eats dairy and eggs, so he would have to start with himself, as those industries are unbelievably cruel to animals.
M C Pretty rude. Besides Ricky Gervais is about a day away from vegan.
MountainKing626 He’s also delusional
Firstly to everyone poachers and people who milk cows are extremely fucking different
Grow TF up
@@mc8627 I just calmly pointed out the truth, why did that trigger such anger in you?
Derek was incredible and instantly became a Ricky Gervais fan. I will be watching this
Fantastic show! We need more episodes!
Not the same without Steven Merchant and Karl Pilkington :(
trongborg Definitely. His ego makes him think he can do it alone, when Special Correspondents, Life on the Road, and Derek prove otherwise. I swear ppl love Ricky bc they loved the Office. He still is adored despite releasing rubbish for years.
Big Sky Blue he has top notch delivery but apparently he can’t write as well without Merchant.
Does it have to be. You obviously don't like what he does.
@rxp56 Fair point. I hope it's good.
I really like the look of this show but that one "so sad" line made me cringe with memories of the final episodes of Derek. I love Derek but that last episode where they're all licking Derek's arsehole and crying about how wonderful he is was uncomfortably disappointing. I hope this series avoids that.
@rxp56 i thought his show was quite good
I love this show!😍💕💕 The cast and writing was just amazing and the jokes...😃😃..too funny.
Everything you've ever put out is gold in my opinion. And this is no exception. Can relate so much to the character so far. I can't wait. Great to see a lot of the characters from Derek - especially Kev! :D Thank you for giving us more of your outstanding work, Ricky!
