Love your work, friend. Stratford Square holds a ton of memories for me growing up in the area. This used to be the place to be Friday and Saturday. I still remember the Sears when it had an honestly big N64 section in their store. Times have really changed and the retail landscape is leaps and bounds different, but I will always have a fondness for this mall. I'm glad someone is documenting places like these.

At this point, Stratford Square should be put out of its misery and redeveloped. They're not gonna attract anymore big new stores in their current form
Also JCPENNEY closed in May of 2014, not 2015 but still great video nonetheless

At this point I can’t see this mall staying open much longer, you will probably see the same thing happen here as with Charlestowne. When (most likely)/if they do it in the future I will try to get here on the last day and film a video. This Burlington also isn’t in good shape.
I remember when it used to be Montgomery Ward. This mall was incredible back in the 90s when it had all 6 anchor stores. It’s sad what it’s become now.
This mall doesn’t need this place to go 😭 but it’s nothing to be surprised about. I’m just surprised they are still in this mall up to this point because they kept making the size of this store smaller and smaller. Once Kohls is gone, which won’t be anytime soon, this mall is pretty much done for RIP

In my opinion, as a local, i've always liked the store in the mall better because it had so much character and there was a lot of space. The new store is SUPER cramped, messy, and crowded. It lost all of its charm and character. It made sense for them to move out tho, because Namdar ran that mall to the ground. It's a shame, because that mall had so much memories for me. The village of Bloomingdale has some pretty great mixed use ideas for the property, which I really hope go through. It pains me whenever I pass the mall,. even worse when I go inside. Hopefully, if the ideas become a reality, it will bring life onto the property and Bloomingdale can have a true city center once again.
Definitely this store has a lot of character. I am certain once Burlington moves will probably dwindle foot traffic further in the mall and if any tenants are left in the Burlington wing, they will probably leave months after like finish line. I can’t imagine finish line will stay once Burlington leaves. Most likely the mall could possibly go either by the end of this year or some where in 2023. Beyond that I can’t see the mall remaining in operation. Great video!

Although I don't care for Burlington, it will be a real blow to Stratford Square when they leave. Your comment about merchandise looking unappealing summed up how I feel about them. Kohl's is starting to get that way, in general.
I'm sorry to see Stratford Square go down, I always liked shopping there. Namdar really ran it into the ground fast. I hope they take a huge loss.

Unfortunately this just doesn’t make any more sense as a mall anymore.the next redevelopment needs some kind of theme and identity.there are 2 many lifestyle centers on army trail rd and properties with apartment options.I would like to see something with a theme for families.a park .an outdoor adventure with new restaurant options.something that would bring cultural to this community.

@@LostDepartments Comment disappeared (my end) so trying again, it is closing. Only way I found out about is looking at the liquidators website. Not sure if you can see the old comment but I can’t.
Yes it is closing I actually went in there before it was announced for closure and it was not busy at all so I guess it is closing due to poor sales
