I ran into Cal at an airport. Very classy guy. Not at all full of himself. As approachable as anyone could be given his success in baseball. Look at him out there giving back! He's the definition of Hall of Famer!
I did a Report on Him in 4th Grade. Ripken is The Man. Little Known Fact: His Handshake was known as one of the Most Fearsome in all of Sports. Im Sure he can still give a Mean Knuckle Overlapper to the Avg Man.
Shouldn't you be loaded before the pitch even comes??? I mean like as the pitcher is winding up you load and wait for it to come to you. Is that what hes talking about..? or is he trying to get that all in one little swing as the pitch is coming to the plate?

you dont need speed to have good range on the infield, its all about reaction. plus he had good reach because of his height.
id be happy to get a hitting lesson from ANYONE who served in the majors let alone Ripkin Jr.
