a Boost gauge is a very quick and easy way to determine if you have an issue. Vcds or suitable Obd code reader will also show if your logging any issues and can also be used to check if sensors are working as they should be.

Hi Dom, quick q for you, unrelated. I have two obd eleven (dongle) devices that I control via iOS for all of my Audis. The work well, all the way back to my 2003 TT 225. Ofc, the co released a BMW app, and my daughter’s car (mine when it needs repair 😂) is a 2006 330xi. Ofc, the obd eleven folks decided that 2008 would be their cutoff on older models, so my question for you is … what would you rec for another smartphone based reader / programmer for the 2006 bmer? Ofc, I just thought of it bc the bmw is throwing a lean bank 1 code, and I need to smoke it! Thanks so much!! Andy

Hey Dom!
Im changing the hose to the brake booster resevoir on my 225, is it vacuum in that hose? Will i need to air out the brakes or refill brake fluid?

you should be able to just replace it without any issues mate, its a vacuum pipe buddy
