Well, inflation in America for one thing increases the prices here. The other is the fact that these are licensed sets for Star Wars, and it appears to me that only the Star Wars sets this year have gotten so extremely overpriced

This is my favourite build for a Star Wars ship I've seen for a while so the price annoys me even more. The tightness of the gaps are great and I especially love the extra pieces used behind the cockpit close any of the potential gaps. It's quite common to see slight gaps around the cockpit so it's nice to see the designer go that little bit extra to prevent that.
The drip on the mini-figures lately has been insane! Good job lego 👏 on another note, i once again agree with everything you said 😅 Techniques were interesting too
Truly interesting set, like it a lot. Definitely priced to high, yet the ship is somewhat charming, speeder is really nicely designed and detailed and we also have a nice minifigures. Great review! ^^
It's a great detailed build, with some fun minifigs but could have easily done without the parts pack that is the speederbike and a slightly lower price. With that in mind maybe 45-50 tops. Not at all 70 or whatever it costs in my country.
It already sells for upwards of $140 on Ebay, there are not many places left that have it for retail price. My guess is that this is a deliberate collector's item target because of the mini figures. I got one, I will most certainly not open it and sit on it for a while before passing it on.
I feel like this set is going to be very underrated given the other sets coming this summer. The minifigs are pretty unique and the ship is a weird shape but cool. Maybe if you find it on sale for like 15 or 20% off it would be worth it

Would love to have a Dedra Meero minifig, she's such an epic Imperial badass or Mon Mothma the senator in her fancy car or something, those are amazing characters that are missing as well as a few others. But if I have to pick one, Dedra Meero pretty pls. :)
It's a neat set. But for a transport vehicle to only include one security guy is quite disappointing. Especially when there's room for 5 of them and not expecting the figure to return.
Yay price increases! Star Wars was already pretty expensive but I think Jurassic World and Marvel have it beat. That skin tone is new and the Mandalorian N-1 Starfighter also features it. Also the upcoming Fast and Furious Speed Champions. Interesting build! I do wish you got more out of the price but I love seeing new techniques to things. Also I think this could provide some fun parts for moc builders. Like that windscreen looks good for speeders or a spaceship build.
The wings really let the ship down. They too small and they make it look really goofy. It kinda reminds me of the fat dragon with the small wings from How To Train Your Dragon.
If I ever got this set, I know I'd have to mod it with some longer wings. Then, I think, it would be pretty good; I always appreciate a ship with a reasonably interior.
I just KNEW they'd charge around £65 for this... At £50 it would reasonable, although scaling of both vehicles looks very iffy to me. And £65 I'll pass.
70 dolars, here in poland it would be around 330zł which is really bad actually, we mostly earn around 2k zł a month and if you need to play 330 of that for a small lego set then you have only 1670zł left then taxes and stuff i wish there was an option for poorer countries to have a cheaper price but i guess it wont happen cuz then ppl would import sets from those countries, and its kinda sad tbh cuz if you want a good lego set you need to save for a couple months for it (im talking about bigger sets, UCS are far more expensive then you would need to save for a year or two unless you earn more)

the speeder has the monkey kid hilt which is something maul should have got last year cause lego is lacking of recolors for some pieces
