- बारी वन माल्टा और ऑरेंज नागपुर एक ही फैमिली के दो अलग-अलग प्लांट्स है। इसलिए इनकी देखभाल संबंधी जरूरतें भी एक जैसी ही है। ऑरेंज य माल्टा के लिए अच्छे ड्रेनेज वाली ऐसी मिट्टी की जरूरत होती है जिसमें अच्छी मात्रा में ह्यूमस और ऑर्गेनिक मैटर का समावेश हो। मिट्टी हल्की एसिडिक नेचर वाली होनी चाहिए और उसमें पानी देने के बाद सागिनेस्स बिल्कुल भी नहीं आनी चाहिए। मिट्टी में पानी का ठहराव सिट्रस प्लांट के लिए किलर साबित हो सकता है। ट्रॉपिकल या कोस्टल एरियाज में इन प्लांट्स को आप साल के किसी भी महीने में लगा सकते हैं, लेकिन अगर आप सब ट्रॉपिकल या टेंपरेट क्लाइमेट जोन में रहते हैं तब इन्हें लगाने का उपयुक्त समय समर के मंथ्स होते हैं। विंटर में प्लांस को किसी ऐसी जगह पर रखें जहां रोशनी पर्याप्त मात्रा में उपलब्ध हो और शीत , पाले या ठंडी हवा के झोंके का असर सीधे तौर पर प्लांट्स के ऊपर ना हो। जाड़े में प्लांट्स के डोरमेंट होने के कारण किसी भी तरह के ग्रोथ की अपेक्षा नहीं करना नहीं चाहिए। प्लांट में ग्रोथ की शुरुआत होने के बाद इन्हें फर्टिलाइजर और पानी रेगुलर बेसिस पर देना जरूरी होता है। ग्रोथ के शुरुआती चरण में हर महीने नाइट्रोजन-रिच फ़र्टिलाइज़र देना चाहिए ताकि पौधा ज्यादा हरा-भरा और घना बने और उसमें मजबूती आए।
Bari One Malta and Orange Nagpur are two different plants of the same family. Therefore, their care needs are also similar. Orange and Malta requires such a well drained soil in which a good amount of humus and organic matter is included. Soil should be of mild acidic nature and should not become soggy after application of water as water stagnation in the soil proves to be a killer for the citrus plant. You can plant these plants in any month of the year in tropical or coastal areas, but if you live in sub-tropical or temperate climatic zones, then the best time to plant these is in the summer months. Keep the plans in such a place in winter where there is enough light available and the effect of cold wind or frost is not directly affecting the plants. Due to the plants being dormant during winter, any kind of growth should not be expected. After the start of growth in the plant, it is necessary to give fertilizer and water on regular basis. Nitrogen rich fertilizer should be given every month in the early stage of growth so that the plant becomes more green and dense and get strengthen.

This is my first comment on any gardening related video. I have watched and liked all your videos that came till january this year.
Aapne jab Bari 1 malta ka video upload kiya tha uske 2 months baad hi maine bhi same site se ise purchase kiya and gamle me lagaya. ( Shayad galti ye thi k 1st potting 24 inch pot me kar di.) But it has had very little growth till now. Is saal kafi neglect bhi ho gaya tha and I saw small insects and caterpillars eating new shoots and leaves but did nothing for the lack of time. The plant hasn't attained much height like yours have, more or less it is the same. New growth appeared in March April but not after that. Also, many of the leaves lost their natural colour, not quite yellow but not really green, if you know what I mean.
I would like to get some pointers as to what should I do with it now.

The answer lies in your question itself. You have not taken care properly as you said, so how can you expect good results.

About my carelessness, my mother survived a terrible pneumonia (not covid) in January, spent 16 days in hospital including 6 days in ICU, after that it took her a couple of months to recover. Is time unke upar hi dhyan laga raha, then april mein, mother father and mujhe, 3no ko covid hua, in short they were ok but I suffered horribly but survived somehow. Recover karne and strength gain karne me mujhe bhi samay laga. Inhi sab reasons k chalte plants ki dekhbhal nahi ho saki. Baki plants ki care krke wapas achhi condition me le aaya hu, but Malta reh gaya.
I'm aware of my carelessness jo maine apne comment me bhi likha hai. So main abhi winters ko dekhte huye aapse jaanna chahta tha ki ab mujhe malta k plant ko kaise handle karna chahiye, should I repot it in another smaller pot? Or should I keep it till next year in the same pot? Any information will be appreciated.

Do not spray anything when buds have opened. Next spray can be done when fruits are established to a size of about 2 to 3 mm.

If you live in coastal region then all months are equally good, otherwise better months are during Spring or Rainy season.

I just ordered malta lemon and kolkata patti lemon plant.size is little bigger around 2-2.5feet what size pot should i use.can i use a empty paint bucket of 20 ltrs.thank u in advance and keep up d good work.
Initially you can use smaller size. You can increase the pot size gradually.

I ordered Orange combo pack, from which All time lemon plant is now bearing fruit within 1 month but other two ie Bari-1 malta and nagpur plants leaves are remains dull and half curl toward upper side till now.....No sign of new growth...

1 month is not enough time to evaluate the growth. Spray neem oil regularly.
Iske patte par catterpillar attack hota hai aur patte kha jate hain. Neem oil spray se koi effect nai mila.. Kripya upay batay
Add some baking soda to the neem oil. Meanwhile, also ensure that the neem oil is pure.

There might be fungal infection in root system. If fully dried then nothing can be done.

The quantity of such soil is very less. If you disturb the root ball, the chances of survival will decrease.
