Pope Francis to Congress: Dorothy Day and Thomas Merton

This video was recorded "on location" in the side chapel of the Mercyhurst University Chapel in Erie, PA. Just minutes after Pope Francis delivered his historic address to the joint session of Congress, Fr. Daniel P. Horan, OFM presided and preached at the Mass of the Holy Spirit, which kicks off the academic year for Mercyhurst University. A Thomas Merton scholar and admirer of Dorothy Day, Fr. Dan wanted to share his initial reflections right away, so here they are! Also, there are a few glimpses of the beautiful campus of Mercyhurst University and a time-lapse video of the opening of this evening's panel discussion on religious life.
