- Great one from Kill 'Em All album.
In the original version, there is a double solo during the second half (right side and left side). In the video I play a mix of both solos, as Kirk does in concert.

The best approach of guitar tutoring! Your half speed mode, playing - tab simultaneously is an excellent idea man!!
Thanks!
You are the fkin master! Only you put that awesome solo in a explication of 2 minutes. I suck in guitar, but with this, suck a bit less.
Thanks! I'm glad if this can help you \m/
Awesome, don't know why I've never learned this solo. No time like the present 👍
Thanks
That is absolutely incredible fantastic my friend Note 4 fucking note man! I could watch that a hundred times and the hundredth time feel like my first your fingers are blurry dude Bravo

That was amazing! My next lesson!
Thanks!
That's interesting I thought you were going to play the whole right channel, but then seems you slid in bar 14 from the left one. Cool.
Thanks. Yes I mixed both to get something close to the live version.

Incredible! Have you ever thought of doing some Triumph solo lessons? Fight the Good Fight, Lay it on the Line, Follow your Heart are all really great solo's.
Thanks! I have to confess that I didn't even know this band :o And I think I should spend some time listening to their music because it seems pretty good.
@@StephLeGratteux I only discovered them a couple of months ago myself which is crazy because they were apparently huge in Canada and the USA. Thanks for the lessons, my playing has improved tenfold since I discovered your channel.

Awesome work.. I've been playing along with you. Where can I find the backing track that you used? I tried looking on RUclips but there's no rhythm guitar track with the tracks I found??? Thanks joe
Thanks. The backing tracks have been made with the isolated tracks of this collaboration cover ruclips.net/video/PI5EXY9XTR0/видео.html . They're available on my Patreon page using the link at the beginning of the video.
Why don't they EVER play the 1st solo of this one live???
😱awesome master 🙏
Thanks!
This is much better than those 30 mins videos

Good job mate, just what I needed
Thanks
@@StephLeGratteux hope you're keeping well. Long time no speak
@@BDMMusics Hi, I'm good, hope you're going well too. I checked your channel and then remembered you. Was BDM music your nickname back then?
@@StephLeGratteux no, I was modestguitarist back then. But I want to start doing videos again, so wanted a more professional sounding name
@@BDMMusics modestguitarist, yes that's it! I kept my silly nickname thinking if I changed it, people wouldn't know who is posting a new video and wouldn't watch lol
got it down in barely under a week thanks to this vid (:
glad it helped you!

How the heck do you that last part with the whammy bar
Pick the open G string, push the bar down, release it and quickly pick the open low E string and push the bar down again.
@@StephLeGratteux even a normal tremolo can do? i think normal tremolo are useless compare to floating tremolo
@@salim___ not sure you can push down so much with a normal tremolo, I guess it depends on its quality and the guitar quality
I've been working on this solo for a few weeks. You nailed it! I got the notes memorized and the technique down, but I'm challenged getting the timing right. Playing is slower definitely helps.
Thanks! Yes, playing slower and being patient are the keys.
only here cuz there was no mechanix solo lesson
Daves solo was one of the Best ever of Metallicas. Wish he could collaborate with them again.
This is 100% pure Hammett solo.
@@miezan8092 Mustaine wrote the 1st solo I believe. 2nd was Hammett in this song.
@@punk1player you mean last solo ?
@@punk1playerit’s the other way around. First solo is Kirk’s and second one is Mustaine’s (although Kirk did some adjustments to make it easier). It’s super obvious by hearing at the style. It is pentatonic to death and whammy bar. That’s Kirk’s. And the second one is Mustaine’s. If you hear Mechanix it’s essentially the same.
All Kirk.
Pretty depressing how they credit Kirk Hammet for writing this beautiful masterpiece. Kirk can't write face melting solos like this, anyone who thinks otherwise, pull up.
Kirk did, all the solos on the kill em all record are writting by kirk. Dave’s solo’s didn’t make it through.
Almost every solo on metallica albums are kirks, including this. Idk what the fuck you talking about
So many people pulled up. Looks like you were just all talk.
@@thus.spoke.zarathustra lmfao internet is all talk genius
Saul Urena Nah you are just a pussy.
