Pick the open G string, push the bar down, release it and quickly pick the open low E string and push the bar down again.

I've been working on this solo for a few weeks. You nailed it! I got the notes memorized and the technique down, but I'm challenged getting the timing right. Playing is slower definitely helps.

⁠@@punk1playerit’s the other way around. First solo is Kirk’s and second one is Mustaine’s (although Kirk did some adjustments to make it easier). It’s super obvious by hearing at the style. It is pentatonic to death and whammy bar. That’s Kirk’s. And the second one is Mustaine’s. If you hear Mechanix it’s essentially the same.
