So when he first appeared in the song, Camillo walks up holding a pillow to an exhausted new mother. He then turns into the mother, tosses her the pillow, and takes the baby, who sees whom they think is the mother and lets Camillo do his thing. This lets the mother take a much needed nap with the pillow Camillo gave her on the bench behind them. Then Camillo shifts into the baby's father to play along and entertain the baby.
To give one more bit of context for the wedding incident: Pepa is seen multiple times to be in her own head. A single bad thought can cause her to hyper focus and spiral down until extremely bad weather happens. “Bruno says it looks like rain…in doing so he floods my brain…married in a hurricane”. Just by Bruno saying it was going to rain Pepa starting thinking about all the what if’s and soon spiraling down in her thoughts causing the hurricane.
@@Blackleg_Wanji I’m not so sure cause they said “It was my wedding day…and there wasn’t a cloud in the sky” meaning she was very happy marrying Felix and Bruno’s prediction made her have those doubts that things were gonna go wrong and then the hurricane
@@pandanoko729 SPOILERS It wasn't a prediction iirc, Bruno saw Pepa was sweating and jokingly said it looks like rain to life the mood. He states this at the end of the movie.
@@gravityx3 I think I heard from someone that he meant people are going to cry and also the mischevious grin is probally just an akward grin from bruno
So my take on this is that Bruno saw Pepa was nervous since she was sweating like he said at the end of the movie, "That wasn't a prophecy, I could just see you were sweating". So he tried to make a joke saying it looks like rain that also explains the grin, but Pepa being Pepa and Bruno being the one who said that she started overthinking it and that's what leads to the "married in a hurricane" part lol.
Also, what Camilo change the baby for was a pillow, basically he is babysitting so the mother can rest for a while, all the family do stuff for the Town as a way to be gratefull with his Powers as stated by Abuela Alma. One of my favorite subtle parts about this movie, is how each character of the madrigal clothes also reflect their personality and gift. Isabela has flowers and I'm pretty sure her dress is made completely of petals. Luisa has dum bell designs along the trim of her skirt. Dolores has sound wave designs and a sound wave necklace Camillo has chameleons along his poncho Tia Pepa has the sun earings, yellow dress, and is paranoid but caring, which is why she hovers around for support during conversations that are very obviously upsetting her Julietta has a morter and postal design on her apron Abuela has candle design embroidered on her clothes Antonio has a toucan design on his mini version of his father's shirt And Mirabel has a hand made dress with a butterfly on the shoulder as well as a handmade shoulder bag, showing her desire to be useful to the family in any way she can
What you said about the characters moving more in this movie than other Disney movies - I think you’re right. I watched some BTS videos & they said they hired choreographers to come up with the characters’ movements before making the animation - something they don’t usually do. Also, instead of having 1 or 2 main characters they developed the whole family & they have more movement & detail than general background characters.
Instead, you see the movement of Mirabel when she put her hands together on the air and then move her hips... That's one step of a traditional Colombian dance, even the moment when all the family come out the house and then she dance moving his hands from side to side, that's another step... Much of that is amazingly real
Actually, it's something Disney use to do in the old days. You can see videos where they recorded actresses to act out scenes and songs so they could animate them better. I can't remember all the movies they did them for, but Sleeping Beauty was one.
@@paigebice900 I’ve seen that footage before. An interesting fact is they often reused the choreography in multiple films. I believe the example you’re citing from Sleeping Beauty was also used for Maid Marian in Robin Hood.

You can go back to We don’t talk abt Bruno and understand it a lot better now. Pepa and Felix verse has a lot of nuance. For example Pepa says there wasn’t a cloud in the sky, but Feliz says No clouds allowed in the sky. Basically Pepa was doing her best to stay calm and keep it sunny even though it was her wedding and idk one bride that’s not a mess in her wedding day. Bruno says it looks like rain and Pepa says “in doing so he floods my brain”. So, because the one who sees the future said it would rain, she could only think of rain and made it rain. Ofc all her emotions came though and it became a hurricane. Tbh, that’s more honest of her. I’m sure she was feeling like a hurricane lol
The animation on this movie is crazy... peep the texture and details in the hair. Plus they have actual choreography that goes with the songs. Thats why the movements feel so natural.

Not a latina, though as a filipino, our cultures are quite similar due to 300 years worth of colonization. But anyway, as much as this movie represents Colombians and the latinx community, gotta say props to Disney for still giving representation to people like me... coffee addicts
Fun fact is that Colombians drink coffee since very young age, be it at breakfast and/or medias-tardes so when we get older we don't get affected by caffeine and some people get actual headaches if they don't drink coffee at least one time a day. 😭

Yes, coffee with milk.
Shes ALWAYS a part of the conversation lol
Not a latina, though as a filipino, our cultures are quite similar due to 300 years worth of colonization. But anyway, as much as this movie represents Colombians and the latinx community, gotta say props to Disney for still giving representation to people like me... coffee addicts
I like how you really do pay attention to what they’re talking about in the song and not just the music
Yo I never laughed so hard “ you snitch!” 😂😂😂😂
12:19 I Can 100% Tell He Didn’t See What Happened in The Dinner Scene
I love how Merabel is a great dancer and singer. You dont need to be magic to be gifted
Finally someone who reacts to the coffee kid as much as I did 🤣
the "you snitch" KILLED ME 😭😭😭😭🕳🚶🏻♀️
Dolores is a Chisma queen.
Yeah the dude who transformed has the power to shape shift
I see the kid in you.... I enjoy watching thiis
I’m not even gonna lie ive been drinking coffee since I was 4 cafe con leche and shit
Nah what was funny to me was after Dolores called her out the littler girl said maybe your gift is denial😂😂
dolores is my fav bc of her "hm" at the end of everything
I’m loving your reactions to this movie! The music is so good!
Loving it (currently watching)
I love your reactions.
Fun fact is that Colombians drink coffee since very young age, be it at breakfast and/or medias-tardes so when we get older we don't get affected by caffeine and some people get actual headaches if they don't drink coffee at least one time a day. 😭
DTV: Why she gotta put her on blast like that?!
Me: wait til you hear about the "not special" special XD
You said this is the most detailed Disney movie, and that statement might be a reach? WRONG!! That was on point. When Mirabel has the prophecy in her satchel, you can see the FABRIC shade and shadow INSIDE her bag! On closeups, you can see the WEAVE of her SKIRT!! Naw, this is the best Disney movie quality wise of all time.
She didn’t even snitch though, a question was asked and she just answered
The shape shifter is the one who does the Bruno part in we dont talk about bruno
Bro I need to see your movie reaction, love your energy!
