It's very subtle - but the way Dolores said her line at the end actually shows her opinion of Mirabel not getting a Gift: It doesn't matter to her. She may not be extremely close to Mirabel, but the presence or absence of a Gift doesn't seem to change anything, for her. I actually think she may be closer to Mirabel than we initially see. She’s the only one in the family who doesn’t shun her, or think of her as lesser due to her lack of gift, she’s also probably attuned to how lonely Mirabel may feel (Super-hearing after all, she probably can hear her crying at night or something) and Mirabel did say she was her favorite cousin (One could argue this was a way to get her to give info but it’d have to be believable if she wants to get fed the information so maybe she really is Mirabel’s favorite) also Mirabel probably wanted a figure to look up to, like a sisterly person (and since Isabela wasn’t that for much before she felt the need to belittle Mirabel as abuela did, and Luisa was constantly busy, maybe Mirabel found that in Dolores instead.) They live in the same house, Mirabel is probably starved for gossip since she’s stuck in the house all day, Dolores from what we know doesn’t really have too many chores since super-hearing isn’t as helpful as plant-making and super strength. They’d both be stuck at home a lot (Camilo too now that I think abt it) they’re cousins, Dolores knows how the family treats Mirabel and sympathizes with her, she’s willing to give her info on Bruno, and Mirabel shares a room with Dolores’ little brother. It makes sense. Sorry for this unnecessary rant, it was just a theory J had.

I was in your live reaction yesterday, I loved it, thanks for repost that song. Three quick answers that you missed between all the coments: Luisa can be translated to Louisa; you said quite well "dos oruguitas", just try to say "gui" as in the word guitar; and the words ending in -ito or -ita in spanish could mean the small version of something (casita as a small house) or could be a nickname or a way to call someone in an affectionate way (casa-Casita, Bruno-Brunito, Antonio-Toñito) and is really used in Spain, usually with family members or close friends. That's a way to make Casita part of the family instead of a simple house. Sorry for the length, I hope it helps ❤️
Hi Maria, I love your comment explaining some Spanish to people! Just a tiny little nitpick that in English, the "u" is silent in guitar (so it's said like gitar (with the i unstressed) rather than gwi-tar in Spanish)) so that part may be a little misleading for English speakers who don't know Spanish.
Hi! Thanks, I also love when others do the same in english. But the "u" is also silent in spanish, so we say "o- ru-gi-tas" and "gi-tar". In words with "gue" or "gui" the u is always silent except when you use "ü", like in pingüino (pin-gu-i-no).
@@mariacarrasco1322 Hi thank you so much for taking the time correcting me there! I don't know why I was thinking my friends in Madrid would pronounce the u in guitar. I think maybe my memory is crossing with words like "guapa" or my Italian friend (or maybe both haha) I think I've spent too many years not speaking Spanish. I hope I didn't make a total fool of myself and I did honestly mean it from a good (though obviously wrong) place ;^^.
@@natiraine4260 Of course you didn't, I also have mistakes in english and I like when someone explains them to me. The silent "u" only works following by "e" or "i", maybe that is the confusing part. I'm glad to help, if you want to know something else 😊

Hey, so i just got into your videos with your dip into Encanto, i think i went in the same order you did actually. I really like your breakdown of the instrumental while almost completely ignoring whats going on with the rest of the video, be it the lyrics or the animation. Its quite funny to me, i enjoy how people react to things, been going through a lot of these Encanto reactions because my ADHD says YES... so yknow. Anyway i am finally commenting (and ill probably subscribe too dont worry), because i was left flabbergasted when you made no comment about the accordion that got tossed at Mirabel... An instument that isnt often seen and then it panned to the instruments that you mentioned at the start. The villagers were the ones playing the instruments for the song since the start!!!! Oh im from canada too :D southern ontario.
Fun fact: the name "Madrigal" actually refers to a technique of Secular vocal music composition from as early as the renaissance era. It's actually the type of singing the family use during the "We don't talk about Bruno" song. That part were they're setting the table and overlapping the verses is a prime example of this. Seemingly chaotic but harmonious at the same time, just like "The tower of Babble" from the musical "Godspell". If you don't know it, that would be a good song to react to later down the line.

Ok I have to say at 6:25 look at her face! It’s like ohhhhhh you paused it again on me lol!
OMG IM SO EXCITED TO WATCH IT!

I've been enjoying listening to your reviews of these songs from Encanto.
I have a suggestion: Once you're done with this series, can you review the soundtrack from the Netflix "Arcane" series, especially pieces like "Enemy".
I literally love your reactions it’s like everything I’m thinking
You should react to "Waiting on a miracle" from Encanto, it's such a beatiful song 🥰🥰
Oh wow! I suggested this yesterday and now the video is uploaded!
The vallenato is fun. Thats the idea of that music. That music is from Colombia . Vallenato
This guy is like a xqc clone, same hair, he is from Canada, same Schnozer, same body.
Saludos desde Barranquilla, Colombia 🇨🇴

You should do other Disney songs, like songs from The Little Mermaid, Beauty and The Beast, Tangled etc, more of this Disney magic 🤍
I would love if he did tangled the series songs too. Like waiting in the wings, let me make you proud ready as I'll ever be, crossing the line, nothing left to lose
I was waiting for you to upload this 😂
Amo tus reacciones 🇨🇴❤️
I'd love if you react to After Ever After from Paint, it's a absolutely gorgeous acapella!!!
Hello I just want to say I'm new and i was watching you other videos they're are good👍
the best part is mirrabelles face and how it perfectly has that "please help" look.
