Thanks for asking. Glad you are still flying. On the Walkera G400, when you flip the switch for ALT.HOLD, the helicopter will stabilize at that location. You can however, move you helicopter throttle and cyclic sticks. Once you stop moving the helicopter, it will try to move back to the original location that you had the ALT HOLD on. Pretty Cool. You can also flip the switch out of ALT HOLD to Normal Flight Mode. You can also then flip the ALT HOLD Switch again and the helicopter will HOLD at the new location. The GPS Mode will only work during normal flight mode. GPS will NOT work in Aerobatic Mode as inversions will get the GPS Confused. We will have a Brushless Main Motor kit for the Walkera G400 GPS R/C Helicopter soon. Visit us at: WWW.RTF-HELI.COM
Thank you for your help! I want to order it with brushless motor kv3800! in this upgrade t plug mounting battery, and therefore the question arose whether it is possible to put more powerful battery. very grateful for your help! very little information on this helicopter on the Internet
HAllo RTF HEli I bought one of these helis and I connect it to a Multi TX Modul with Taranis Plus. Can you tell me which channel I must use for to fly and to configurate my mixer? I just get that mix channel but I think that my GPS does not work correctly but already perfectly adjusted. Can I fly in the GPS Hold mode? Or must I switch back into Manual mode DURING flying? And If I do the heli will make figures like in a circus.
You can use an 11.1 volt 3s 1,600Mah LIPO Battery with a 3.5mm banana connector. If you want more flight time, consider upto an 11.1volt 3s 2,200mah LIPO Battery. Keep in mind that the larger LIPO Size will weigh down the helicopter, which will require higher RPM Levels for lifting the helicopter. A Brushless Motor setup is probably better. Visit our website for more information. A heavier battery will also make it harder to perform 3D maneuvers. If the endpoint is not a 3.5mm banana connector, you will need an adapter. Some LIPO Batteries come with no connectors and/or the XT60 or 4mm banana connectors.
The Walkera G400 does not come with an aluminum case. The helicopter can be sold as a ARTF, BNF, or RTF with options. We sell it as an ARTF because it keeps the cost low as possible. The typical LIPO is an 11.1v 3s 1,600mah LIPO with a 3.5mm Banana connector. This helicopter works on a DEVO 7, 7E, 8s, 10, or 12s TX.
RTF HELI COM Hi, can you tell me which channel are what? I mean ail is for example Channel 1, Elevator Ch2, RUdder CH4, Gear? Mixer between Normal, GPS and Home is Channel??? And there must be another channel?? But I need the output of these Channels to config my Taranis with my MTSS-MUL Multi TX Modul which can do Devention
Wish you had tried the Altitude hold feature while the helicopter was in forward flight. Also wish you had tried the return to home feature while the helicopter was in forward flight. Try it and let me know if it works!
If you fly the helicopter during Forward Flight and then Flip the Switch to "ALT-HOLD", the helicopter will attempt to HOLD at the position when you flipped the switch. This is not recommended because if your forward flight is too fast when you flip the switch, the helicopter will attempt to hold at the position you flipped and may turn quickly to adjust back to when you originally flip the "ALT-HOLD" Switch. This can cause the helicopter to crash. It is better to flip the "ALT-HOLD" Switch when the helicopter is at the area you want and not in forward flight.
RTF HELI COM OK...that makes sense, thanks for the info. How about flipping the switch for a "return to home" while in forward flight. Are there any peculiarities to that procedure?
Bruce Burkland You can Flip the "GOTO HOME" switch while in forward flight. Once you do that, stop holding the cyclic stick as the helicopter will start to turn to the location that it last lifted off from. It will then descend it finds that location. Like most GPS devices, it is not 100% perfect. The helicopter can land a couple of feet away from the original location. This may be the result of the calibration or GPS Satellite strength.
Unfortunately, we do not write the Walkera User's Manual in Portuguese. What exactly happen to your G400 ? You know you must calibrate the helicopter before flying. The GPS will only work outside when the GPS Unit can connect to the low orbiting satellite's.
But I have to add the rest of your review and demo was really great and helpful, many thanks
Why is the GPS Case not fixed in the correct position. It is about 3 degrees out of position in the video???? Has it to do with declination or why?
Can you still fly while in Alti Hold mode? You just don't have to worry about the collective (left stick) besides rudder?

how long is battery life? longest flight duration? cost? the basics everyone wants to know
Hi! Could you help me. tell me what size batteries? which are not native batteries are suitable for him?

Do these helis come all in a aluminium Case? Also only the Heli without Lipo , Devo, and Charger?

Hey there I was wondering where can I buy one of those helis

Do you have to callibrate each time?
If you move your location to another one, you should re-calibrate as your reference points might be different from the original location.
RTF HELI COM Ok.....awesome. Can't wait to get mine.....very soon.
Still interesting :)
motor na cauda?????
