    Thanks for responding. My reference to lack of power is related to all around low rpms compared to the videos I've watched.

    Cory, I'm assuming that the folks that posted this video sell the product and parts so I have removed a couple of references I had posted on here after thinking about that. However I will simply say that there are several U.S. suppliers of Walkera parts that are dependable. I have about 4 Walkera helis (2 X V400D02, a Master CP and a Genius CP. I've never had to order anything from outside the U.S. and never taken over a few days to get the parts from the suppliers I use.
    The Master CP has the 6 axis system...it is a dream to fly even with brushed main and tail motors. I am about to order this heli BNF and sell the two V400's and another CopterX bird I have I think.
    They are not quite as easy to fly as a fp bird as they are more responsive and go where you point them, however the collective pitch 6 axis fbl gives you a much more "connected" feel and handles wind much better than any fixed pitch bird can.

    Yes it's the best lowest cost using the 6-axis gyro technology which is incorporatedin the RX. Other units require the RX and then a separate flybarless controller (typically 3-axis to 6-axis). Thereis only so much space on a 450 size helicopter. Less wires and less mess when its all in one device. We used the same Walkera RX on an ALIGN TREX 450 PRO DFC and it works great.Plus when we did this we used the same DEVO 7 TX. The Spectrum TX's are really too expensive.

      James Williams I was always taught, when flying a new heli, leave off the canopy until becoming competent. Good advice, when you consider the likelihood of the canopy getting smashed in the unfortunate event of a crash. ;-)

    The DEVO 7, 7e, 8s, 10 12s, F7 can work any WALKERA based DEVO 6-channel CP Helicopter such as the Walkera Genius CP V1/V2, Master CP, V400D02 as well as the Quadcopters like the Lady Bird V1/V2, Infra X, QRW100, QRW100s, Hoten X, and new QR-X350 GPS Drone Quadcopter. ONE TX for flying these nice DEVO based Helicopter and Quadcopters. The DEVO 7 also has Memory slots to store parameters for each helicopter.

    The ESC should not get hot unless you just did a lot of aerobatic flying with a lot of spins and turns. If your ESC is getting too hot on normal flying maybe the messhing between the main motor and main gear is too tight. Loosen motor to mesh with main gear in which you should be able to easily sping the main rotor easily. You should be able to get 2-3 full rotations with the flick to your wrist on the main rotor. Make sure all of your ESC wires are connected properly- no loose wires..

    Thanks for asking. Yes, you should be able to convert your blueray into a Walkera V450D03. They don't make the Blueray anymore so we can't officially tell you it will work properly, but if the Main Shaft is the same as the V450D03, you should be able to convert this into a flybarless belt CP. You need the V450D03 Rotor Head, Main Shaft, ball linkgage set, stabilizer holder, swashplate, and the new RX2703H-D. Goto the Walkera V450D03 spare parts at: RTF-HELI.COM. Let us know if it works ?

    We are located in the U.S.A. The shipping/handling costs can be high to deliver from the U.S.A. to the Philippines. Try a Walkera Dealer that is closer to you. Try helimonster - they are located in Japan.

    Hey brother you still out there? I am talking about the guy who made this video. I have owned about 2 Walkera
    V450 D03 and I love them to death. I think they’re great for beginners because of the 6 axis self leveling which is unmatched compared to any other 450 rtf 6 channel
    Flybarless collective pitch helicopter.
    Hand down walkera May have not cornered the market with RC helicopters
    But it definitely kicked some serious ass.
    Now for the big question ok?
    Can I use the integrated receiver and gyro mix on other 450 helicopters even different sizes let’s say 550 trex.
    I want to know because the self leveling system would help alotz.
    Thank you so much.

    I would highly recommend those "nano" RTF's from a reputable "original" brand. Not a "copy". Blade nano or 130 is an awesome starter.. Decent spektrum TX can be used for bigger heli's(although Futaba is best). They are "basically" crashproof. Anything in 450 size is highly dangerous and expensive crash. Then if you should continue in the hobby, you got a good Tx for your next heli. Also, buy a "real" sim $100+. Enjoy.

    How similar in flight characteristics is this to the Master CP? I notice many other collective pitch helicopters have a much different feel now that I’m used to the Master CP.

    Hi there, thanks for the review. Id like to ask you about the Devo7 transmitter please. Im not great with the technical side of things, so, the binding and programming process seems a little intimidating to me, especially when all the reviews complain about the poor English written within the instruction manuals.
    So, if i purchase the RTF package, does the Devo7 come ready bound and programmed?

    • @7RTFHELI
      @7RTFHELI  9 лет назад +2

      Lee Cross Depending on which package you choose. Some Walkera V450D03 packages come with the DEVO 7 and some do not. Typically, the RTF version comes with the DEVO 7 programmed to your V450D03. The BNF version typically doesn't come with the DEVO 7 as some user's already have a DEVO 7. The DEVO 7 can be programmed to run several different Walkera Helicopters and quadcopters as it has memory slots to store the different models which is really nice. One TX to control different models. You save money by purchasing the BNF Version.

      RTF HELI COM Thanks for clearing that up for me...The D03 RTF package seems like a practical way for beginner/intermediate pilots, like myself, to enter the 450 class market without breaking the bank. I'm sold ! :-)

    Never ask a salesman what I need? My advice as a fellow pilot with 5+ years experience(trex 450, 500) with over 5000+ flights. If you are starting you will be "crashing" a lot. A heli that is robust can fix over/over, and still fly like brand new. Like a piece of appliance. Walker is not proven to be that. An excellent cheap starter, but you will eventually spend more for better. Better heli, electronics and controls. Period.

    • @danechin692
      @danechin692 11 лет назад +2

      Yes, you have to much negative PITCH at Zero throttle. You need to re-adjust the PITCH settings on your DEVO 7 TX or re-adjust the two long linkgages on the flybarless head to less negative pitch. Using the DEVO 7 Method, get into programming Mode. (Press ENT) Move using your (UP/DN) to the FUNCTION Menu. Press ENT. Move down to PITCRV. Press ENT. Chane your POINT (P-L) to slightly more positive. Increment by 5%. Press EXT to store. Typical values for PITCH Settings are: PL=-5, P1=INH, P2=INH, P3-INH, P4=INH, PH=45%

    • @7RTFHELI
      @7RTFHELI  11 лет назад +4

      You have too much negative PITCH. Get into programming Mode and get into the PITCH CURVE MENU. Adjust the Pitch Points to be more positive. Increment 5% at a time for each POINT-L, 1, 2, 3, 4, H. Make sure all points are linear in nature.

      +Emirete Angel Sorry can't understand your English. The Align Trex 450 tail section is Gear Shaft Driven and will not fit the Walkera V450D03 as it is belt drive driven. If the helicopter spins upon take off, you need to readjust the tail section. You can try to readjust the servo arm for the Rudder Servo and/or readjust the trims for Rudder on your Transmitter. This is a process of trial and error until the rudder section doesn't spin the helicopter upon take off. Use the Rudder Trim on the TX as that is the easiest way to quickly try to rectify the problem.

    I really want to order this before they become extinct.. My problem is the flight time.. I have been reading like 8 mins? Didn't the old E-Razor 450 fly for up to 20 mins? Is there a battery upgrade I can do if I purchase this? 8 mins seems very short for a helicopter of this price range.. I don't like the shake when spooling up and down as I have read that the plastic pieces that the Rotor blades attach to is the cause of this issue.. I have yet to buy one of these choppers.. I have been wanting one in the 450 size range for years now.. I think it's time I step up and buy one.. Any help would be appreciated on Battery upgrades.. I have also read the stock charger is not very good, or more less slow not that it's a bad charger just not really intended for the battery size.

      I have not found one - this is one smooth flying heli
      With that said, I've read that there are now 6 axis gyro's being sold, and so perhaps there is a way to customize larger birds to fly the same way.
      Though I must admit, the V450D03 is one of the best RTF heli's I've ever owned - I currently own two of them btw

    • @scottmiller3536
      @scottmiller3536 8 лет назад

      +RTF HELI COM Let me start from the beginning. I have the Walkera V500D01 helicopter that came with RX2702V-D receiver. A servo went bad and blow my receiver out. So I had to buy the RX2703H-D receiver because they stopped making the RX2702V-D receiver. Now the RX2703H-D receiver works great on my V450D03 helicopter, but when I put it on my V500D01 helicopter it spins in circles. Yes I have crashed it and replace the tail rotor. So maybe I have done something wrong. I thought it might be my gyro setting because when I rotate it back and fourth. My tail rotor only works one way.

I am a blade customer and they have excellent customer service. I also am a T-rex 500 owner and I have good sources for parts for my align. That bird looks amazing, I wish it was CNC parts.

    • @7RTFHELI
      @7RTFHELI  9 лет назад

      Thanks for asking. The Walkera V450D03 with the DEVO 7 TX is $399.99. Walkera Service is limited to China meaning that they don't have any official service center in the USA. You would need to ship it to China for repair work which is expensive. Horizon Hobby sells their helicopters expensively, but they can service your bird in the USA for low shipping costs. So if you are proficient in repair work, which to fly this bird, you should be, then you should only be interested in spare parts and CNC Mods, but that's your choice. I don't like Eflite Blade, because they are really expensive and I can repair this bird myself.
      The Walkera V450D03 has a CNC Metal rotor head set offered by Xtreme Productions. It is a DFC Metal Head that we sell as a Mod for this helicopter.

    My WALKERA "V450D03" is new, and i can´t use it because there is a great PROBLEM: - i turn on the radio (DEVO7), the battery on the Heli, I try all the commands with the throttle at low speed, then i throttle all down and trigg the "HLD Button" (Throttle OFF). THEN IF I MOVE IN ANY COMAND (RUDDER / ELEVATOR / AILERON) THE ENGINE TURNS ON AT LOW ROTATION AND ONLY I CAN STOP IT BY TURNING OFF THE BATTERY (
    including the "Throttle HLLD" does not act). I ALREADY SAW ALL THE CONFIGURATIOS OF THE RADIO. AND I CANNOT DETECT THE CAUSE OF THIS PROBLEM.
    I tried by all means to contact WALKERA itself but they don't even answer for more than I insist. And it's quite weird that on the official Walkera website (www.walkera.com). have nothing on YOUR Helicopters, they only deal with Drones.
    as I am still inexperienced in RC Helicopters I honestly don't know how to SOLVE THIS "PROBLEM" VERY Weird, I never heard of anything like it.
    CAN SOMEONE HELP ME? THANK YOU

    does 6 axis stabalization make it easy to fly like fixed pitch birds?

    • @7RTFHELI
      @7RTFHELI  10 лет назад +1

      Thanks for asking. Yes, with the new flybarless design and the software used in conjunction with the 6-axis design, flying this Collective pitched (CP) helicopter is the same as the Fixed Pitched (FP),but better because CP Helicopters can adjust to high wind conditions without being whisked away by the wind. The CP Design allows for this. The drawback -- be prepared if you crash the repair cost is higher as more parts are required with this complicated flying machine.

      The 6-Axis gyro technology is definitely more stable than a 3-axis. This makes flying better than a Fixed Pitched (FP) Helicopter, plus you have more stability in the wind versus a FP Helicopter. Both the Walkera V450D03 and Walkera Master CP utilize 6-axis gyro technology. The Master CP is a smaller 250 sized Flybarless CP Helicopter.

I like the Walkera RTF 450 size and the Blade RTF 230 model.....does anyone have a recommendation for a beginner like me...thanks

      Congrats! Sound like you maybe ready for a larger R/C helicopter. You can start with the typical 450 size helicopter. This type of helicopter should be flown outdoors as it's size makes it difficult to fly indoors. The classic Align Trex-450 is always a good start. With most 450 size, you usually end up assembling the helicopter. So, be prepared to be a mechanic in training. It's better to build and should take about 4 hours. When you build, you will know the exact parts when after you crash.Other brands to consider include the Tarot 450 and the Goblin 380 series. Blade is expensive.
