I made the same upgrade in that order with the intakes and it definitely made a huge improvement each time. That 64 is an animal and 1/2 the price of HPI 62mm
The intake ports on the S&S being bigger is less of a bottleneck then on the SE, specially on a 114 with stock heads, at least in theoryCheck out George Bryce’s video on this exact topic. Info starts at 11:15 mark. BTW, this video helped me out a lot👍 ruclips.net/video/j0sw91P0zd4/видео.html
I bought the S&S 55mm, I plan on polishing the ports. Got the main intake almost done . Jug ends to be done next.I used sanding drums variing in size. You use the size at your discretion, coarse to light sanding rings .
Great informative videos-I had the 30/30 cam put in changed the whole bike (21 ultra 114) so your saying the Screamin eagle throttle body is the way to go?
Yes your stock 55 will not bolt up to a 64 tb you have to buy the complete throttle body and intake hopefully this helps you thanks for watching it’s worth the money in my opinion I got better throttle response
K&N - Fuel Moto Custom Hi Flow Air Cleaner for M8 Ventilator RK-3952 supports the 64mm with 80% more air than the stock football and another nice thing about it is you can use the original OEM Harley 114 cover
So which is the better one? Screaming eagle I would imagine. I have the s&s on my dyna and the screaming eagle on my road king but ones carbureted and the other is fuel injected

@@capecodbiker9902 yeah I follow them. Do you have access to a dyno? I'm sure the max numbers are big. That just makes sense. I'd be curious what your low end torque curve looks like 55 vs 64.

I’m excited to see also doing 2 into 1 exhaust.

I just kinda took the ruff edge off inside
Don't get carried away and end up with differing port CFM.

Looks like a fun project.
Sir , with Star 30/30 cam and the 64mm
SE manifold +throttlebody what is your experience ?
I love it I have no regrets. I got 132 torque 119 hp

Do you have to buy a special intake to fit the bigger 64mm throttle body or does it use the same bolt holes?

I think the screaming eagle is better they both have there perks in my opinion but I’ll let you all know after I run it and see the Dino numbers

125 tq 109 hp with a true dual exhaust no cat
