Every Square Is A Rectangle😅.... For Those Who Don't Know
Was going to say that
Great mathematician:- Every square is a rectangle.
Yes isme sbhi squares bhi count ho gye hai...
2 vertical lines aur 2 horizontal lines toh square ke bhi hai, toh square bhi count ho gaya
Square is a rectangle ofcourse
Yes🙂every square is a rectangle, if you remember what have been taught in lower classes.
Every square is a rectangle but every rectangle is not a square😊
Of course. Square is a rectangle whose length and breadth are equal🙂

it is about how many pure rectangle not impure rectangle like square and it is about application of combination from permutation and combination, combinations are number permutations in only one pattern means abc , bca , cab are 3 permutations and abc is the only combinations out of them

There are 5 horizontal lines and 5 vertical lines on a 4x4 grid. If we select any two of the horizontal lines and any two of the vertical lines. There will be a rectangle formed in the region between the lines. 10x10 = 100 different rectangles can be formed.
Row wise numbering -1 2 3 4
And column wise - 1234..
To find rectangle -(1+2+3+4) × (1+2+3+4)= 100
Answer is 5c2 × 5c2 = n! /r! (n-r)! =5!/2!(5-2)!=5×2 =10
Same thing repeated again for 5c2=10
Then 10×10=100 😊

Of 100 by 100 square
I don't know about this process as I am just moving to class 11
I know a simple method that I learnt for MAT
Since there are 4 rows, we've to add all natural numbers upto 4(1+2+3+4), which makes 10, and since the columns are also 4, we need to proceed similarly
And lastly we need to multiply the resulting number of rows and columns that is 10×10=100
The explanation seems lengthy but practically its a lot simpler
Actually he explained that trick
he explained what you did right here only he has just arrived to the final process of calculation but otherwise doing by pnc is a lot simpler and faster
That is what is pnc

And 3 square side by side can also be rectangle

Answer : 100 rectangles
If you count strictly rectangle (sides are not equal) for every small square it will look like
For 1st row
3 + 3 +3+3
3+3+3
3+3
3
For 2nd row cells
2+2+2+3
2+2+2
2+2
2
For 3 Rd row cells
1+1+2+2
1+1+2
1+1
1
For 4th row cells
1+1+1
1+1
1
If you know what I mean makes this almost beautiful pattern

100 it can be solved by mathematical induction and combination or by simple calculation..
There is also one more method i just came in 9th and i know another method that is sum of columns multiplied by sum of rows i.e.
(1+2+3+4)×(1+2+3+4) simple dude.
By the way this video is teaching us its concepts of combination and permutations so it is good. 😊😀
i had done this same technique for parallelograms and parallel lines, so I was able to solve it
Multiply hi kyo karna hai ....why addition isn't....? That's my biggest doubt 🤣🥺🥺🥲🥲🥲
He already told it at frst(what if it's 100x100grid)
OR = Add ... And = Multiply 🙂
we want 2 columns AND 2 rows. AND implies multiply
My multiplication principle read 11th math textbook you will gind it there
Bro , after 6 months I got the answer that suits me ....😅 Logic is simple as that agar tumhe dono event karna hi hai then MULTIPLY the events and agar dono event mai se ek ko karo aur ek ko nhi karo to usse dusre wale event pe agar koi affect nhi ho raha then use ADDITION ......to in this question hume done event karna hi hai b'coz Rectangle banane ke liye hume vertical and horizontal dono lines chahiye hi chahiye....to yaha pe dono event karna hi hoga nhi to Rectangle form nhi hoga ...so here we have to do MULTIPLY of both events 🔥

same type of qs was given by arvind kalia sir, he said rectangle banta hai 2 lines (horizontal and vertical). so job is to choose 2 lines
To find the total number of rectangles in a 5x5 grid, you can use the formula for the sum of the first ( n ) natural numbers: n(n+1)/2
For a 5x5 grid, you have 6 horizontal lines and 6 vertical lines. So, the total number of rectangles is 6×5/2 × 6×5/2
Calculating:
6×5/2×6×5/2 = 15×15 = 225
So, there are 225 rectangles in a 5x5 grid.
