We Aussie's actually call AC/DC, ACCA DACCA. Only us Aussie's call them that as we give nicknames to everything down here in Australia & because they're Aussie's they're very rarely called AC/DC.

From my understanding it was the sister of Angus and Malcolm who thought of both the name and school boy outfit
Their sister was sewing & on the sewing machine was AC & DC & ur right that's where the name came from. Ur also right that she thought that he should wear the school boy uniform & he did. Actually another Aussie rock band The Divinyls lead singer wore a school girl uniform.
