    I love that there's no pretentiousness with these two, just a couple trying new stuff and having fun, but still very knowledgeable and articulate about food. Instantly subscribed

    I suspect the reason why the chicken is sooo tender is because they brine it. I do it before I cook or BBQ and it takes chicken to another level.

    • @travelfuller
      @travelfuller  9 месяцев назад +2

      You’re probably right! It had the perfect amount of saltiness too which could definitely come from that brine

      Saw a behind the scenes video. You are correct. They brine the chicken for 24 hours before cooking.

    Dang, I'm going to Publix and get me some chicken tenders & their secret Ranch dipping sauce. I'll set the ambiance with the earphone headset on the large screen TV.
    Coke Zero will be my fizzy over ice plus an incredible deep satisfaction of saving gobs of money.
    Good video guys as always...
    Cheers from sunny Florida.

      That sounds like a great night! A salty McNugget with ranch would honestly be pretty similar to those caviar ones haha also what secret ranch from Publix!? Cheers from a gloomy NYC!

    I saw a video about this restaurant pre-opening. It was literally years in the making. I love the art deco style and attention to detail. Korea has more fried chicken restaurants per capita than the U.S. It is nice to see it elevated. I think the investor has been very thoughtful about which aspects of Korean cuisine he has chosen to highlight. Btw if you go out for Korean fried chicken again it still tastes good the next day - the magic of the double fry. Thanks for the great content.

      I was curious how the arched lighting would look when the space was in full swing. It gives you two different mood zones. Lit up for groups and darker for dates.

    Why do people want food to be bargain cheap? Restauranteurs need to pay workers, pay taxes, products, and above all make some money. There’s always McDonalds. I find it distasteful when people go on and in about food and why they think it should be cheap. Always go somewhere else if you can’t afford it.

    초반에는 화재성이 있겠지만, 한국에서의 '고든램지 버거' 처럼 초반에만 흥행이 되고 실패하지 않기를 바랍니다. 일단 가격 면에서 솔직히 캐비어 너겟과 버킷리스트 메뉴의 가격 공존이 가능할지 모르겠습니다. 누구를 위한 메뉴들인지 모르겠습니다. 그리고 맛 면에서 샴페인과 치킨은 모두 단맛인데 그 둘의 맛의 조화가 경쟁력이 있을지도 좀 더 지켜봐야 할 듯 합니다. 한식에서 단맛의 술인 '막걸리'도 고기하고는 잘 먹지 않습니다. 그러나 새로운 시도는 언제나 가치가 있습니다. 많은 사랑을 받는 새로운 맛의 컨셉이 탄생하기를 기대합니다.

      fried chicken and champagne go great together, but what they ordered was not champagne. Also, I'm not sure if the appetizer ordered was caviar, but generic fish roe since caviar is only from sturgeons.

      This is a hot take, I like to know prices so I can calculate how long it would take for me to save and treat myself to amazing food, and that adds to my enjoyment and sense of satisfaction - I have no problem with people being able to drop hundreds or thousands of dollars for a culinary experience but it is always good to know if the goods and services a restaurant provides is worth the asking price.
