Fitting is something that many sewist tend to ignore but the fact of the matter is, we are all made differently so how could a pattern maker make a pattern to fit each one of us perfectly? Take your measurements often! You’d be amazed at what a half an inch can make! You are creating a video series here that I feel will be used for many many years to come by the sewing community. Kim, your videos are professional, well produced, and thoughtful. Thank you! ❤️🐝🧵
I’m so happy you’re doing this series! I’ve already watched this twice, I’m going to watch again before church, and then measure myself this afternoon. Thank you! Just a thought, if you had a Patreon account, I’d join! 😻💖🍑🥰
Would love some clear guidance on comparing actual body sizes that are in between given sizes on the pattern envelope. Do you go to the larger size or the smaller size. Will probably need a full bust adjustment. Using a simplicity pattern that is drafted for a 'B' cup. and hugely confused. Thank you for your timely video helping us newbies.

This is great. Can check what point on the shoulder I measure from please?
I always use my shoulder joint.
