It was good at the start, went flat after a few lines, picked it up again, was great at the start of the chorus but, oh my, the second half of the chorus and that scream is the stuff of legend! Thank you, Danny, for one of the most memorable moments from any TV talent show ever.
I never watched American Idol but in 2013 when I was driving to and from work and clinicals I found klove and haven't turned back. The music of Danny Gokey, Colton Dixon and many others have touched not only my life but the lives of my children. God is good!
Danny Gokey is amazing but I believe he was called Christian music now he 1000 times more successful! All these guys that missed signing him are kicking themselves!!! For missing chance of lifetime to sign him up as artist on first album!

I'm a God-fearing, Jesus-adoring, faithful teenage girl and I dont like to associate with druggies and partiers and those who may lead me to sin. I respect Danny Gokey so much and love his music.

Sexuality is something that cannot be helped and isn’t a harmful behavior. What you said is like someone saying "I don’t think he should be condemned for not wanting to associate with black people. Homophobia and racism is the same hate.
Olivia Piper Robeck Except. the analogy does work, because for Christians, homosexuality is considered a sin, and as Christians, choosing not to accept that part of the teaching would be the same as a Christian not accepting the fact that we should love our neighbors unconditionally, we can't pick and choose what to believe, but we can still love like Jesus loved regardless of sin.
Also, I don't personally know anything about Danny Gokey, but last time I heard, he specifically said in an interview that he and Lambert were friends and that they texted each other often, so I don't really know what you're so caught up about.

The truth is he tried but it was not that good. Hear it with your headphones, not just the phone audio......It was a risk and he gave it his all but the scream was not the full scream and it sounded higher than Steven Tyler's.....I would not attempt that song but Like everyone says YOU GOTTA RESPECT THE EFFORT AND THE RISK
