Nice design. Definitely lots of food for thought as I design my antenna rotator and antennas. I really like the spring clips on the directors/reflectors. The feed point blocks are nice too.
Hi, great work .I am trying to build the 433mhz yagi . So I want to know all about your project . I will be very thankful if you can provide me some information about your project.
Hi, I am going to build the cross yagis for UHF and VHF, can you show me how can I determine the distance between vertical elements and horizontal elements? Thanks.
@@sandymal3251 Just now I want to write a comment that it's home brew :-) But not quite. I had the parts made in a locksmith's workshop. The documentation in the description is mine and is freely available of course. Parts are dificculty to made at home without machines.
Hi, Great Job! I have a similar project like yours. I see that you shared a link for the antenna. I also like to build one for noaa satellites. Do you have the drawings for the antenna? Thanks
Great Job!! I'm also trying to build a 2 meter Cross Yagi. I'm also looking to build a 70cm yagi. Would it be possible for you to email me your plans. Thanks in advance. Lou.
Hello and thank you. Plans are available just as a 3D model. I didn't make the drawings. Dimensions are according to the K7MEM yagi calculator www.k7mem.com/Ant_Yagi_VHF.html If you are interested in a 3D model, let me know. I'll send stp.
I guess the arduino code isn't enough for you. It's not so simple. But, here you are ... www.kocian.info/blog/download/Rotator_Portable_Arduino.zip :-)

I am also excited to learn about the tracking mechanism you have built.

Do you have plans available for the az/El rotor and the antenna?
Yes I have. But there is a terrible mess in it. In the evening I will try to purge it. Then will be download link in video description. Can it be?
@@RobertKocian This sounds good. I need a push in the right direction. ;-)
@@Paturnus1
It's harder than I expected. Tomorrow evening will be continue. So far, only assembly drawing of rotator.
@@RobertKocian Great job! Please let us know if you have any updates
Great Job! I'm also trying to get my Yagi Antenna to rotate. Can you share what motors you used and how you went about? Thanks!

Hello, distance is 1/4 lambda. I followed instructions by www.qsl.net/sv1bsx/antenna-pol/polarization.html
@@RobertKocian Thanks. As my understanding, we will build 2 yagis independently (already matching, balun...) then connecting them together?
@@bigboy061293
Exactly ;-)
@@RobertKocian thank you so much!
Great job! Can I find out what kind of rotary mechanism you use? Where can I buy one?
I apologize for the question. As I understand It, this is a homemade device. At first I didn't see the link to the rotator drawings

WOW! Now that, is bad ASS!
Super práce, taky bych chtěl takovou anténu doma, na kolik vás to vyšlo?
How much your rotator sir
