How to create a satellite antenna intended to capture weather images from passing NOAA and METEOR satellites. You can capture weather images from satellites using a USB device called a software defined radio (or SDR) which allows you to receive radio signals from 30MHz to about 1.6GHz with the right antenna. This particular double cross antenna I am creating is for 137MHz and is designed to be left permanently outdoors without rooting like my old wooden one.
