*I'm truly greatful there are cobblers willing to resole Blundstone boots like these! That looks like a smooth leathr. I have them in nubuck. I saw you left a comment about telling someone that these can have a goodyear welt on them too! I think they would also look good with a Vibram lug sole too with the welt! Anyway, great resoling here! I'm sure the customer was so happy! Blundstones deserve a chance tp be resoled indtead of being thrown away. Great video!*
So even tho those boots were a glue down when first made. If the customer wanted would you of been able to put a Goodyear welt on them. And by the way amazing work. You're the only cobbler I see on RUclips resoling these boots everyone says are not able to be resoled.
Yes it’s possible the only problem is to cover the original sole where It was glued. But I think we can find solution. Anyway thank you for Watching :)
@@arlonthecobbler no problem. Thanks for the videos. love watching them. Maybe dying the boots a darker color to hide where the glued on sole would work. Or even just some acetone to clean it off and some mink oil or beeswax to taken them up.
That's incredible So you're able to resole them! Looks better than before in my opinion and now that boot is going to last a solid 10years! I was curious, do you also do Birkenstock resoles ?
i've got a pair this summer and didn't wear them until the beginning of october (occasionally), after 2 months of use on normal street and home pavements (nothing crazy) they already began to crack in the middle. i'm ok if they begin to break after sometime but i also had unbranded 20€ chelsea boots that lasted almost 3 years before cracking while these expensive, branded, "quality" boots, which remember, cost no less than 150€, have such crappy soles which crack after 2 months of occasional use. i hear a lot of people have this issue and i think it's completely unacceptable. i had timberlands (which are not chelsea) for about 6 or 7 years now and they have 0 signs of cracking in the soles i'm never going to waste my money on blundstones ever again.
Yeah the problem with the bluestone sole, if it interests you, is that it degrades when not used. It needs to be worn regularly to not decay internally.
@@hansmemling2311 Yeah but i've got them this summer and they began breaking in november, after only two months.. the unbranded ones lasted 3 years and weren't being worn for many months straight. Not gonna commit the same mistake again.
@@vitellonealvapore877 that's because the unbranded probably used a different material for their sole but still I agree with you. I have redback Uboks, made with similar soles and I hadn't worn mine for 6 months and they are fine. Even though they also degrade over time when not used. Just better quality so it takes longer for it to start happening I guess. There are many other brands with amazing shoes though. If chelsea boots is what you are after, try Solovair. If you have normal feet, if you have wide feet I wouldn't recommend them.

So, Blundstone original outsoles are not really that good.
Oklahoma has no skilled cobblers that do this. is their anyone in the Midwest I can send mine to get resoled? Thanks

How much would a service like this cost ? I can’t watch my favourite boot be retired just because I’d the sole.
👍🤝
Thank you for watching :)
Челси?
Yes..
Зачем такое чинить ? Верх уродливый. Чтобы видео снять.
*These belong to a customer who sent them in. Therefore it's what the customer wanted, a resole. Totally fine 😊*
