First of all, my apologies for this delay, but this is due as my original video did not work out as expected! I’ll publish that one later..
Second; this video could have been done so much better as Etihad has changed incredibly much in the past few months and there was too much to show you..
They are for me now an absolute top 3 best airline without discussing and well better then the self proclaimed or Skytrax 5* airlines.
They have the most elaborated Economy Class service with the most options I’ve seen out of any airline and I just wish I had the time to show you all!
What I can share is that I’m glad I got to fly on Etihad’s B777-300ER before it leaves the fleet and I’m even more glad it was with such an incredible team serving us on this occasion.

WOW amazing report as usual! Thank you! I am so beyond happy to see Etihad's totally enhanced economy experience. Seems absolutely amazing. From those nice large pillows, to the quality of the headsets, and the pre-meal snack service. It's small things like that that truly make a flight stand out.
And there was rose bubbly and so many other things, but for a different video!
The crew must have thought I was nuts when I commented how great it became.

I miss Etihad Airways, and I want to really try them again soon, I recently flew with Royal Jordanian before Ramadan and RJ is a good airline, suggesting that you try them 1 day on their B787-8! Great video though and Ramadan Kareem!
I’ll fly on them on the B787 for sure, they’ve got great fares to the States from the UAE. I hope to be able to do it soon!

I think one of the key things to notice about Etihad's product is that despite its age and how outdated it can be, the experience is just always something that blows me away every time!
Exactly, and it is the experiences that I care for, not the dated IFE screen.
And it blew me away completely, the crew must have thought I was nuts.

Omg, the cabin crew gurl speaking in the end of the video minute 29:27 was serving me and she has the best attitude and hospitality service experience. She’s so polite and patient.
Ohhhhhhhhhhhh, what a coincidence, that's the crew I met Farah (you should write her name lol) she is so cute and hospitable, her service is beyond, I was flying back to Rome lately this week and she was so friendly and made my day.

Hi Alex another amazing vlog, I have it said it before and I am going to say it again, Etihad is a wonderful airline many people don’t know about and should fly it more often. It honestly surprising to me that ITA still uses some of the old Alitalia liveries despite Alitalia being shut down in a way I would have expected them to repaint the planes.
Awesome to see such high quality service. Kudos to Sara and Aleks. I live the Eithad FA uniforms, in my humble opinion it is the best out there.

I think it is important to become the best by giving people the freedom to do so, meaning the employees. Something big has changed there as they’re genuinely happy and as a guest I notice the motivation.
And that is something that QR or SQ for example will never have as they’re constantly under stress and fear to to what is wrong and not being the best.
I look forward to whats to come and hope the same greedy mistakes don’t get made.
Becoming the best is hard work and not only hard investments.

The new CEO Antolonado Neves is so much better than Tony Douglas.
Tony Douglas was stupid as Fuck and he was a piece of shit to Etihad as he refused to reactivate the A380’s but Antolonado Neves saved the day and Antolonado made Etihad a better airline as Tony just wanted to save money and not care about passengers

The deep rumbling sound made by the GE90s during start-up sends vibrations to my laptop. One thing we both have in common is a healthy appetite. Unlike other vloggers I follow, you always finish your food. I always do the same (I never fly airlines that serve nasty food).
I can’t get enough of the sound! I’m editing mostly wearing my noise cancelling headphones and it just so beautiful!
I almost always finish the food.. I have to say that I was served a nasty salad just yesterday so I couldn’t… But it’s rare!

The Tag continues to be my favorite to travel with as it can take a severe beating, but it is gone for 3 months on maintenance so I had to use my other ones that I usually don’t wear on travels! You’ll occasionally will notice different ones😋

I just love them! I saw the new service and Business Class at the Arabian Travel Market and completely fell in love with it!
Also the fact that Etihad Airways returned the B777-300ER back into service makes it even more priceless! By the way, IndiGo has an B777-300ER in their fleet.

I`ll be flying this exact route with Etihad end of this month.
I never travelled with an arabic Airline or towards an arabic country. Sometimes to USA, but mostyl Asia. And the past 10 years or so I`ve noticed a massive decline in quality service in the airline industry. So I`m very excited to experience the Ethiad service!
I have travelled most airlines in the world and I can guarantee you that no airline is better value for your money than those in the Middle East.
Most Asian ones too, but there you pay more.
I trust you’ll have a great journey on Etihad!

You`re probably right. In Asis you can have beyond amazing service as well, but those airlines are usually expensive (eg. ANA with a nice 34`` seat pitch in Eco and outstanding service).

Service was allright with plenty of options and 1 meal + Snack on a just 6h flight.
Although I have to say the crew in both flights was a little bit bored and not to welcoming. Further the seats on the 777 (10 seats in a row) are a absolute catastrophy. Would never fly with a 777 in this configuration again. Also the AUH airport ist very disappointing
All in all I wouldn’t fly with Etihad again.
Would love to know what your profession is. Your knowledge about aviation is praiseworthy to say the least.
I do a lot of stuff, but mostly leadership in the hospitality and travel business. I studied a lot about aviation. My wife even studied don’t know what aviation studies in university😋
1:50 - 1:58 Maybe compare A330-900 vs. A350-900! Do you notice a similarity? They both get the same kinds of things on their cockpit windows!

Why didn't they chose for the jet bridge at Abu Dhabi? Hmm pretty weird. But honestly the retro livery is awesome!
The service was hat's off, I think Etihad's cabin is more simplistic, contemporary using amazing but simple colours and design 👍👍🇦🇪
Perhaps because this aircraft was not scheduled to fly in the next hours, so they would rather have it not occupying gate space? Maintenance? It can be a lot of reasons!

I like the old type of flight path display on the 773 more than on etihad's new 787s, the Ebox movie selection rather limited compare to Qatar's ... don't you think?
I didn’t have the chance to fully go through the entire IFE, but I think that on EY’s B787 both IFE’s are comparable.. QR has great IFE but many times has the same movie in different categories so it looks like even more 😃

Pineapple on pizza is amazing. The sweet caramelized pineapple balances the salty ham or bacon. Heck, try bbq peaches, they are also amazing to eat.

Few people continue to wear the mask..
And yes, airlines are strict with weight. There are of course some margins that they’re willing to be ok with but if it’s too have it’s a problem.

3-4-3 in economy is too thight. I did fly Emirates and Etihad. Nice airlines. But seats too cramped.
Just did some flights with Saudi : 3-3-3. And more pitch. And 2x23 kg. Especially the lack of space in economy is a red line for me.

I did. The original Ramadan episode was on Qatar Airways. It failed as there was nothing at all! No dates, no nothing!
So I had to change plans quickly. True story.
