MY BRUTHA..... THIS is the video I’ve been wanting to see for 2 years. Holy Smokes!!! YES, Thankyou. You told me on Instagram to checkout your RUclips vids and I am so glad I did. I was going to get rid of my “Jam” and buy the new SP404. You just saved me $500,lol DOPE TUTORIAL👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽You are The MAN✊🏾
SUPER helpful tutorial, Beau - I scored a Jam last month and have been looking for good MK3/Jam combo vids. I think I’m going to make a few templates with this setup - thanks! 👍
So glad it helped. I intend to make a few proper Jam videos sometime soon. I might do a video soon where I make a song entirely with the Jam, and no Maschine MK3 or plus. I figure exploring that will open a lot of new ideas :)
Great video Bro I just pass from Maschine MK3 to the Plus and I bought also recently the jam to added to my studio and great explained thanks a lot I subscribe on your channel 😊👍🏻
When they first introduced Performance FX I did that just to see if it would work. I was bugging when I did, but I wasn't dabbling in Lofi at the time. A LOT has changed for me since then.
Very nice! How would you route FX if you need more groups for your sounds than just A to D? Would you then you start use groups from A2 - D2 for the Perform FX for example? THX
Absolutely! ❤️ no limit. I just keep the effects on E F G and H as a default starting point. Often on a more in depth project I use way more than 4 groups for instruments so I’ll put the effects on A2 through H2 or beyond. :)
Hi, this is wicked. Is it also possible to add fx to the input channels, as in apply effects to live audio? Haven't found any info that clarifys this yet, so far. All the best
The only problem I see with this routing setup, is that then you can’t really use quick solos of groups in a performance. Like let’s say you wanted to just have drums for a bar, normally you’d just hit solo - no problem. But if your groups are routed through other groups, then when you try and solo a group, it will just be silence. Because the group you routed it to is now muted. Unless I am missing something?
Yo. Thanks for the comment :) Good thought, but the reason that doesn’t happen is because I route the instruments to the first global perform effect, not through each other. Only the global perform fx groups are going through each other. I mute groups all the time, so no worries there. :)
@@BeauTylerMakesMusic however, I still don’t think you could solo an instrument group. Mute yes, but if you tried to solo an instrument that is routed through a global fx group, it would just be silence no? (Because the global fx group it is routed to is now automatically muted)
Great video brother, perfectly explained!
Thanks Jef!

Absolutely. You’d just have them on individual pads of a group and route those to the sound or group you want to effect :)
@@BeauTylerMakesMusic thank you.
Very interesting ! Thank you :) Does Maschine Jam work perfectly with Maschine+ in standalone mode ?
In my experience there’s no difference in functionality. Not to say there are no differences, but I haven’t come across any that I can think of. :)
@@BeauTylerMakesMusic Thank you 😀

How do I record it in the beat
Hold down the auto button or lock the automation button in its settings. :)
Thanks alot
Can you do this with a maschine mk2
Absolutely!
I dont know if i liked the teaching or the song more.

I wish the fx didn’t sound so digital tho
