Technics RS-B755 Cassette Deck with Shipping Damage - is this fixable?

The desire to eventually make my own speed calibration cassettes has led me to my first quartz lock direct drive tape deck. But there's a problem... it took some shipping damage along the way to me. How bad is it, and can I fix it? This was supposed to be just a simple, short evaluation to see what this unit needs to get it back to 100%. As it turns out, it needs repair before we can even get that far with it.

I have almost the same deck RS-BX727 and i was surprised too when i tried to find the Tape IN sensor to clean it and it bite me with the door 😅

I shipped a really well packaged and fully working Telefunken RC 200 and it arrived with a cracked pcb but no external damage, now I have to refund the customer ... I don't want to know DHL did with the deck :(

Nice vid and i learned something new ... never seen the "Software Wow & Flutter" program before - thats kinda nice! I guess it just works with any "USB Sounddevice" with RCA Inputs?

I might be interested, but because I live in Canada shipping might be a problem. Also, working units don't really provide much in the way of content for the channel so if I did take any it would likely only be one. I need to make sure I save money for the broken stuff.
