He also wanted Haitis former president, Jovenel Moise to step down just 1 week before his death. Jovenel was massacred by a group of Colombians. (read the story on Wikipedia) Now Barbecue is demanding the prime minister of Haiti, Ariel Henry to step down. Barbecue claims he is a revolutionary, not a mere crook.
It seems improbable that Cherizier hired the Colomboa. It seems far more likely they were sent as it were to ensure his victory for the edification and excitement of their overlords.
