Yooo! That Skylanders comic haul is great! I didn't buy them when they were new, but I did pick up a good chunk of the hardcover collections that the company put out later on. Art's a little hit or miss on 'em, but on the whole they're great.
...man. your dedication for a series thats been essentially dead for almost 6 or something years never ceases to amaze me (no offense of course) i recently got a used darklight crypt set (ghost roaster. the darklight crypt itself. and the two magic items) online as a sort of reward for this year's evaluation of mine and with it being the first new addition to the collection in possibly 8 years beyond starter packs (also being the one SSA adventure pack i didnt get when this series was still relatively new). im pleased to say im back into the business of skylander hunting (wish it was as simple as it used to be though. none of this ro-bow or aftermarket jibber-jabber but thats just nostalgia speaking). i honestly thought about getting the lot from you but a 20-ish total pricerange from the lot i got compared to the more 'it-adds-up' thing you seem to have... not saying you arent bad. definitely convenient for more elusive or specific finds (dark slobbertooth you will one day be mine). but it can overall just be a good idea to look around and see what you can find beyond your first assumptions also been making it a goal to visit thrift stores like goodwill to see if i can rescue any skylanders down on their luck (havent had much luck thus far beyond the main hull. deck. and cloud of the first-gen flynn's ship funplay hideaway set that i intend to restore and rebuild. only 2 dollars too so it was a steal!) though its also just something i find fascinating. seeing what collectables and stuff people have thrown away or donated and seeing what little it goes for. you dont always find stuff of interest but more often than not you come out walking with _something._ even if it has nothing to do with what you came in for overall - keep it up! sorry if i may have sounded a bit... cynical? asshat-ish?. saying i got the darklight crypt set for cheaper elsewhere and making an observation about how one is this dedicated to a franchise that hasnt had a new game or anything in years. but the efforts and real finances you put into keeping this community alive cannot be overlooked. especially by someone who's grown up with and been a fan of the series since 2012. will look into and ask my advisor about a potential order from you sometime. and with the holidays coming up - hey. when else can you get gifted dumb stuff and feel good about it? ...didnt mean to turn this into such a tangent and wall of text oh my god i am sorry-

Haha. I know that feeling. I do have to strike a careful balance between buying and selling. I can't buy everything I see and I can't spend more than I will sell it for. There's a lot of negotiation that goes into the acquisition of these Skylanders.
Like I said mckay's is always a gamble when you try to shop for Skylanders since you don't know what the store is going to have in the bin when you get there, though a tip I should recommend you trying is that if you find a broken Skylander, you should try to find all the broken pieces of that said figure so you can repair it at home later, this can guaranteed that the figure in question will be free as a result of you having both the pieces of it and the broken figure itself, though that's only works if the actual figure is damaged.
1) I make sure I never overpay for items. 2) I know fabulous folks like you will keep buying them for your collections which returns the money so I can buy more!

Do you find it’s more worthwhile to sell a whole years worth of Skylanders together or individually? I’m looking to sell all my Skylanders as I’ve had my games and systems stolen so I’d rather see them go to people that will appreciate them, but I’m wondering if I should sell them in one lot or individually. I’ve seen Ro Bow sells for about $500. And the wind guy is about $250 or so. Forget his name at the moment.
Depends what your goal is. If you want to get the most money possible, you should sell them individually. It will take longer and there is a lot more work involved, but will yield the highest potential profit. If you just want to get rid of them quickly, you can group them together in a variety of ways, but you'll likely have to take a lower price to find a buyer. If you do want to offload the entire collection at once, I buy collections every day. Once again this will provide you with the lowest profits, but it involves the least amount of effort and risk on your part. You can email me at matt@skylanderscharacterlist.com if you're interested.

why are normal starter pack skylanders 0,99 but 3ds starter pack skylanders get the same price as every other skylander?
There were significantly fewer 3DS Starter Packs created so it didn't affect the supply of those figures as much as the standard Starter Packs did.
