I genuinely loved imaginators. Being able to create your own skylander was basically everything I ever wanted! I loved all the options we had to make a unique character that still had that Skylanders vibe.
It gets a bad rep but after playing all of the skylanders again (for nostogia purposes) it definitely wasn't as bad as people say. Its just it gets a bad rep from everything being stupidly expensive and that overshadows peoples opinions of the actual game

When the game released i found a kaos figure in stores. I was gonna buy the game that black friday for a cheaper price, so i bought the figure before the actual game lol
This game brings back so many memories with me and my brother playing on our old xbox this game (my family got the game as a gift and since we loved it so much when kaos was around $50ish dollars they bought us him and a few other figures)

my personal experience with imaginators was ok i guess. it fun even bought a dark crystal. i had a good time with it..but overtime it slowly became quite bland. post game was just the cake quest mini stages, the only thing i do with it nowadays is either play nightmare mode, have a nice stroll through mushroom river, do the 87th run through fizzland or just beat up bad guys in battle arena. gotta come back to that game for nostalgia at some point.
Activision please bring skylanders back i need something to spend my life savings on because it getting to big i need to buy more delicious plastic figurines with my parents credit cards
i have the Switch version cause unlike most people i didn't make BotW my launch title, i made Imaginators my launch title but i kinda regret it, because the digital library, *sucks* and i have over 300 figures!

While I was disappointed with Imaginators. It still has some good things in it. But now all that’s in my mind is a remaster of SSA and Giants. I don’t think Swap Force can work for a remaster because I felt like after Swap Force newer entries really went in with the toys effecting the level design
Trap Team making you have over 20 figures to unlock the whole game and being a buggy mess started the decline of toys to life, and Superchargers while being a fantastic game and easily the best Skylanders game was not enough to bring anyone back. Then Imaginators came out, was trash, and was truly the nail in the coffin
I bought this game to play it with my son back in 2017, we spent a lot of money on figures and content. In my perspective I enjoyed every second with my son, especially taking time to build his toons. I still owe the game and figures to death.

Fr bro I have an Unopened Kaos figure and Dark Imaginators Starter pack laying around in my house because my mom found them for free on facebook. I'm just waiting for the prices to go up more and more.
So about the Senseis, they aren't completely useless, Ro-Bow, Bloom Boom, Crash, & Neo Cortex can all unlock a new level while they can all do bonus stuff like taking on special arenas, power up your imaginator by one level with every one you collect, and the optional Elemental gates can only be unlocked by the Senseis just like with Trap Team and thier Trap Masters. They aren't required, but they aren't USELESS. Also if you happen to screw up your imaginator and not know you can't reset its battle class, the Senseis are a good backup in which I got a few good ones with King Pen being an instant favorite for me.
Bowser Supercharger Goes Pretty High even more So if it's Dark Bowser Supercharger if you mean Skylanders games it just Wii Wii U 3DS superchargers and Wii U And Switch Imaganators but sense it's also A Amiibo it works with Smash Bros Mario Party Mario 3D World Bowser fury ECT
I actually still have all my Skylanders and have the bowser amiibo from Skylanders and it is my only amiibo and I even did chaos impressions in front of my friend back in year one two and three.

But i ended up going to the local flea market and found Imaginators for the ps4 for $27. Just the disc though. So I had to order a portal. Now the next step is to start buying figures. Lol
i have every skylanders version but i only have one wii u version and don’t have the switch version, i also have all the figures you said you wanted lol.
I know people criticised this game but for people who just started skylanders this is the best game because if you want to collect the old figures and you didn’t have the games you could still use them despite some of them being nerfed
I just hope that, if we do get a new Skylanders game, that we get the physical toys to go with them. Knowing Activision, though, they’d want to make a digital-only Skylanders game which, for me, would lose a lot of the magic of Skylanders in the first place.

What funny is I just went in to eb games(game stop) and they had 2 kaos and they gave both to me for free.I have mine still in box and my brother took his out
One big problem I had with toys to life was the toy itself having no playability outside that. Give them a little articulation, keep them stuck to the podium, but let us reposition Spyro’s neck and his wings or something. Had the toys felt more like toys instead of paper weights then I think the genre would still be thriving.
