I haven't been crazy about clear shelving, but this looks excellent. I love the lighting added as well, definitely something I want to add to my Toy-to-Life display.
Wow. I'm simply blown away. This is so intricate and detailed. All of the extra steps you put into this project shows in the final product. It looks amazing!!! Really hope you are proud of what you made! (also thanks for including my shelf in the beginning really cool!)

I recently built a couple of wooden display stands to upgrade my own Skylanders display. Amazing to see your work and creativity, a display worthy of being called ''the best''! Also really appreciate you listing all the materials and tools used.
And here I was happy about having the 32 SSA with the 4 levels and the 16 new in giants, hope to have, not as much as you but at least one of each version and GJ for the beautiful work there

I find myself wanting to revisit the older games but having my characters handy is such a chore & requires me to grab bins from an attic that isn't easy to move around due to roof slant & my height & having bins in my living room even temporarily is a nuisance.

Lol it was a long process. I started with sizing the spaces by the elemental average (which was like 42 figures) then tested different sized risers with taking account bigger and smaller characters (like trap masters on top and vehicles on the bottom). Probably a little bit of luck too.
You should be careful with an array of Blues and purples because those are ultraviolet light and it could damage the color on your Skylanders, looks great though
Thanks! The lights I used in the cabinets are LED light strips. These produce such a small amount of UV rays that it’s barley even traceable. They shouldn’t do any damage to the figures inside, especially considering I only plan to keep them on white. I appreciate the concern though.

That is a chase variant, meaning his pumpkin head does not appear in the game. Chase variants were not included in this display, though I do have a sealed one 😉
please, be cautious! My traps got all purplely after exposure to LED light. I know you're not placing traps there but I still fear stuff like the trapmaster's weapons and prism break's prisms will suffer from the same effect. Strangely enough tho, my traps got their color back in some time, chemistry is crazy.
Do you know the brand of LEDs you used? All the research I’ve done seems like these lights shouldn’t have any effect on the actual figures, not that they would be on 24/7.
how many shelves would it take to at least be able to a fit a 167 collection? (ie: just the 167 playable characters with maybe some space to fit a few variants and magic items)
If you’re asking how many detolfs, you might be able to get away with 2 without adding extra shelves inside. If not, 3 detolfs would definitely fit that smaller amount of figures, even without the extra shelves I added.
I just didn’t like the look of the power supply and cords being visible from the back. There’s also a sensor that needs to reach the remote to turn the lights on and off. I’m not sure that would pick up the connection being behind the case.
And curious? Do those cases really keep out dust? I’m gonna have to get me three of these or more and a frame for my letter from VV’s CEO’s Karthik and Guha Bala acknowledging me getting all 256 swap force Skylander combinations physically (costed more than 4 grand).
Though I do consider those part of the base set, I much prefer the look of them sealed. I’ve debated putting them all on top of this display, but for now they’re just stored elsewhere. They’ll be shown off in a collection video soon enough.

I use these shelf’s too and I swear they are the greatest shelf’s to display any kind of figure
I can't imagine how tedious it must've been to individually cut and glue each piece for those displays. Your dedication is unmatched.

You can actually change their color in the Govee app! I just preferred to keep it all white (even though it appeared blue on camera lol)
