Suggestion chief..for safety purposes mas mabuti kung talian nang matibay na lubid ang 2 pod eye sa taas lower platform kung nag tetesting nang accommodation ladder while underway ang barko para sakali mang may mangyari sa wire during sa pag testing hindi mahuhulog ang accommodation ladder sa dagat habang tumatakbo ang barko
@Bosun Nilo yes tro Korek kapag ka underway ka kailangan mo talagang talian yan, pero itong video na yan hindi na kailangan kasi hindi tumatakbo ang barko at nakita ko naman maayos ang pagkalagay ng wires.

Sir what is the duration to change the accomodation ladder
Sir how ull did first ull cut the thimble end other side directly joined with new wire to old with welding ya seizing heaved up the rope on drum once new wire reaches on drum keep that sideways n than remove old wire side of drum n remove the full rope out of drum heave up new rope commect end to drum fixed point n heave up correct sir??this is the way ull did?
@astle Fernandes, yes, the old wire will be your guide to correctly install the new one, so you have to connect the old wire and the new wire and just heave it on to the warping drum then you can now connect the new wire to the warping drum and continue until the thimble finds its place
On our ship we cut the thimble on other end lower the drum n pull the full rope out from the drum once we reach the dead end on drum rope we tie bigger rope passing through all sheaves n than we connect new wire rope with normal rope which we had passed through all sheaves than we heave the drum once wire reaches near the drum we connected the end to thimble n then heaved thats it
@astle Fernandez, as long as the new wire will pass through on the same directions with the old one then that’s okay, different ways but the same goal,
Sir wat lashing is done for gangway bfore changing wire
@Astle you can put additional lashings like turn buckles and wires or whatever you have on board as long as it is in good condition

Jeffrey Sari you mean sa mga equipment na may wires on board? depende yan sa construction nung particular equipment sa barko so the best way is to look at the manual of the said equipment para makita mo ang original at tamang sukat ng wire rope.
