This responsibility falls to the hands of the Deck Department. This video is about cleaning our cargo holds in a grain standard condition (high standard). Enjoy guys.

Full face mask with filter, they used it during painting inside the bilge tank.

Napansin ko lang sir nauna pa e washing ang inside coaming kaysa top hatch cover may tendency kasi na lilipad ang cargo residue mula sa taas ng top hatch cover sayang kung tapos washdown sa cargo hold madumihan ulit
Actually sinabay na yan kasi paspasan pero syempre aware naman tayo jan sa alikabok wala naman problema kahit isabay mo sya malilinis pa din ng maayos.
Sir in case of any water ingression on cargo hold is there any alarm detection arrangements? How to make sure cargo hold is free from previous Cargo sediments & odour..do you conduct any kind of wall wash test? If yes Please try to show that procedures in upcoming video.TIA.
Yes there is pre alarm and main alarm every holds. No special washing techniques, that’s the procedure.

How many days will it take to cleaning a single hatch/compartment ?
@Shankar it will depend on a lot of situations and the condition of the hatch, I can’t tell you exactly the time, the target is to finish the cargo hold cleaning before arrival at the loading port,
Sweeping washing rinsing scrapping and painting of single hold approximately takes 7-8 days of work under normal conditions
