Man who couldn't like The Midnight band after hearing their music. I found them when the algorithm threw them on my Kavinsky Pandora radio station and as much as I love Kavinsky I love when my station plays them. The best.
I discovered The Midnight a couple of years ago on a pop up ad for a concert that was in my area that same day, I liked it immediately, but have not had a chance to see them yet.
I love The Midnight. But I also have to admit, Tyler should really invest more into improving his live vocal skills, as he still seems to have too many difficulties with some songs. Lost Boy is such one.
I heard him live recently and he sounded so good. I was worried as well, as I've heard a few recorded live songs that sounded off, but didn't notice it for a second hearing him in person. Maybe the audio from the phone isn't all that great.
From my understanding Tyler didn't really tour before The Midnight.. I think it's a matter of strengthening and conditioning his voice.. something he'll get better within the next few years I'm sure
@@kevin735 Same. It's kind of weird . . . there are quite a few recordings that sound off, yet when I saw The Midnight live in Jacksonville in October, Tyler's vocals were fantastic. I think @markgonz123 is right, i.e., it's all about the conditioning. In any event, can confirm that as of a couple months ago, vocals were top-notch. And Lelia, my God, can that woman sing. :-)
A great song. Not a good live performance- singer way out of key. It’s really more of a synth track - best left for the haunting corners of the recording studio. Keep writing, the midnight. You do great things
