Ultimate Body Blows (アルティメット・ボディブロー) is a 1994 Amiga CD32 and DOS fighting game. It is largely an amalgamation of Body Blows and Body Blows Galactic released in 1993 by Team17, featuring all the characters and most of the stages from both games, but using the HUD and menu interface of the first game. In this respect, the game is comparable to Midway's Mortal Kombat Trilogy, although the gameplay and several of the characters are closer to Capcom's Street Fighter series.

This is a big roster for a 94 game. I'll give that to the devs. The only bigger roster was probably KOF 94.
And a single KOF94 character had as much animation frames as the whole cast here put together.
I live for janky fighting games like this! Really takes one back to another era when game companies weren't afraid to make and release hilarity like this. It was a magical time to be alive.

@@Brandonweifu As long as the game was somewhat functional, it could still be fun. This game looks kinda janky but I would've popped a few quarters in just for the hilarity of it back in the day. Just LOOK at those stiff moves!
I remember getting the first Body Blows on the A500 back when it was new. At the time it was amazing, especially since the Amiga’s version of SF2 was so crap. Of course, I look at it now and think, thinfs have sure come a long way since then.
That water stage @19:00 was not enhanced one bit on the AGA hardware, compared to the original 32 color version from Body Blows Galactic on the OCS/ECS chip-set.
Phantom has some interesting moves. Warra's freeze breath looks op. Apparently it can even crash the game.

Whoa, this is a first for me, and this became kinda rare. Thanks for showing it.
One thing that caught my attention right away is at the main menu: Tag Team. What?! I thought the first Tag game was X-Men vs SF by Capcom, followed by Kizuna Encounter by SNK (same year, few months apart). So it seems one unknown jank game did it first in 94.

That's the same year Killer Instinct and Darkstalkers came out. These sprites look super simple in comparison
X-MEN Children of the Atom came out the same year. big LoL. Big NOPE! this game looks awful
Wait....the Worms team made a fighting game?
Yes and a whole lot of other genres on the AMIGA computers, mostly 2D Shoot Em Ups as well as Action, Platformers, Racing, FPS, RPG, Fighting, Puzzle & Pool, but most were basically glorified tech-demos with horrible game-play to show-case the AMIGAs Graphical and musical capabilities. Their very best game is Alien Breed Special Edition '92 on the OCS/ECS chip-set based AMIGAs. Superior to Worms, just not that famous since it was not released on any other platform.

The character graphics Could use some Help But I like The Backgrounds for the 2nd and 3rd Fights . The Elevator stage is Kinda plain and I havent seen the Rest just yet .
Also I'm a Art Fan So I like Many Styles of Art so what one person likes is very Subjective
Was Tekno using AT-AT sounds for that grappling attack? Also, Hai-ti looks like a knock-off of Psyloke. The devs of this game were either grasping at straws or weren't even trying when they made this game.
